Really hope they're still gonna make some adjustments to this, the lighting still seems off, and removing the grease/oil stains from Chloe's hands makes no sense. Other than that, hella stoked for the new animations and REAL EMOTIONS

Agree! And i also have a couple of minor nitpicks, like i feel like in some shots the characters faces should be more reddish (like when rachel’s crying), and also the hands are really pale. I also don’t get why they changed Rachel’s eyes to be bright green. I feel like they don’t really suit her haha she looks like a vampire or something

Now she kinda looks like she’s constantly planning something behind your back, and not like the teenager she’s supposed to be, you know? It’s kinda hard to explain, but i felt like I could actually trust her before, now I kinda don’t

I was thinking the same. It's mostly harmless but I feel like they really should do something about that "after the show" scene with Chloe and Rachel, it feels really cold and plastic now, especially with their ultra-shiny hair :(

Tbh I think LiS1 needed this way more than BTS did. BTS already looked SUPER polished in comparison to LiS1, and some of these 'remastered' shots look the same or worse. They could have used the time and resources wasted on 'remastering' BTS to really make LiS1 look spectacular.

They called for a reaudition for Rachel's facial expressions in the remastered and the original mocap artist was not selected. Rachel is 3 people: Kylie, Danielle and her new mocap.

I think people are being too critical. Yes, it’s not perfect but I think it’s pretty good for the most part. I like Chloe’s hair having waves too it and looking younger. Glad they fixed Rachel’s ugly cry face. Lol. Her eyes are so bright in that scene now. Only complaint I have is Chloe’s clean hands after fixing the truck but I’m sure that will be corrected. Seriously I feel like I can reach out and touch these characters even more.

Literally the remaster just seems... off. If they wanted to remaster I feel like they probably should have waited for the game's 10th anniversary and instead have done a huge overhaul of the game instead of just tweaking some shadows and lighting effects, making the faces more detailed & lifeless, and calling it a day. I think the original games are going to keep their charm even after the remaster because it looks almost the exact same.

why do they look exactly the same tho, like the only differences i see are 2 major ones like joyce and david, and a million minor ones like clean ups and retextured objects and faces. i don't see any motion capturing for this game like they did for the original game remaster, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Long story shorts, the original Life is Strange version is definitely an enjoyable unforgettable experience, THE REMASTERED VERSION, What i only like is the Improved Facial expressions... Characters look oddly weird with those better graphics, honestly!

Yo Creo que era inesesario hacer un remasted ya de por si se veian bien ambos juegos pero aca Hicieron la gran gta trilogy No hicieron mucho cambio parece que le agregaron algo luminacion Desde que jugué life is strange me enamore de la saga pero desde que ví que iban a sacar el remaster se me hizo inesesario de toda manera ya que aún el juego se caracteriza por su animación y más cuando ví el gameplay no note mucha diferencia hasta me atrevería a decir que pudo aver Sido mejor darlo gratis como un DLC o regalarlo a quien compró las versiones deluxe

Honestly I don't know if we'll ever see them again it's sad there dead my brother is tempted to come out as trans and be happy but the thing is compared to Chloe and Rachel it's just harder because it's more expensive the transition out of the USA so perhaps going back would help especially when our parents don't view LGBT in a good way I guess now that he's going to be my sister life is strange means more to her because you are alone in the world and no one cares until that one person gives a shit

Right order to play LiS: Life is Strange: Before the Storm (Remastered) Life is Strange (Original) The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit (Prequel to the next game) Life is Strange 2 Life is Strange: True Colors Remastered BTS goated after 2 years. Can't say the same about remastered LiS, I still prefer original. Mainly because they fucked up face animation big time. No such problem in BTS Remastered. I also prefer Unity of BTS over Unreal Engine of LiS.

Bruh this is not worth the price, the original looks as it should and the remaster looks like a quick cashgrab the changes to the remaster may or may not be positive and the changes in graphics are negligible enough that if you put both side by side took out the word "original" and "remastered" you would have a hard time telling which one is the remaster, and in some scenes where the lighting looks like absolute dogsheet in the remaster the original has always shined, therefore for me the original is the remaster, and the "remaster" to me is like it never happened in the first place
