I wanna give a shout-out to Ms He Saifei, who played the wife of the protagonist in the 2001 drama The Grand Mansion Gate (Da Zhao Men). Sis not very active nowadays, but such an “explosive” actress. And the crazy thing is, she is still considered one of the best Yue Opera actress in Shanghai even to this date. So I guess she didn’t shift her career path strictly speaking, she’s just good at both.

Even i like Zheng Yecheng's acting.. he is just awesome. I first watched his acting in the drama Revive, believe me, in that drama i only liked his acting. His was small role in it and he nailed it. I watched Oriental odessy, love of thousand years and mirror twin cities only for him. I know Mao Zijun majored in accounting (audit specifically), when he was studying he didn’t have enough money and so started modelling for ads on the side to earn some money. Then later he got noticed by Ruby Lin’s company and began acting, and that was the start of his acting career. Who knows, if he never got into modelling, would he have become a celebrity?
