Merci beaucoup! This is a useful video. I started with the EDT several years ago. The opening notes are fantastic. I then bought the EDP and I appreciated the richer, woodier notes. I treated myself to another bottle recently. I bought the Parfum version earlier this year. I think it’s a masterpiece as it’s so beautifully blended. I tend to wear the Parfum when I’m more formally dressed or I’m wearing smart casual. It’s elegant and classy. I think it’s more of a subtle power fragrance with a lovely scent trail. However…I think that the EDP is the most versatile of the 3.

I prefer the EDP definitely. Like you said it's the perfect balance.

A great line period. I’m in the “already had the edt when the other two dropped” category. Just couldn’t justify having another version. They’re all fantastic blends no argument there, I’m just hooked on that amazing grapefruit/incense combination the edt offers. Excellent topic gorgeous. ❤️😘

I have the bleu de chanel parfum. one of my favorite fragrances

Hi Clemence, well I have the blue de Chanel parfum and has an amazing projection and longevity on me. A lot of compliments and many times people even if they don’t say anything you can read it on their faces that they smell you !! Especially on women. I love this parfum and I think I ll get the edp also since I have many samples. The edp operates a little differently and I can not find exactly those differences. Anyway I like your videos and I like your French accent too.

I sampled the EDT when it was released and loved it. I forgot about actually buying it and when I eventually went to buy it, the EDP had just been released. I bought it without trying it because an EDP used to just mean more fragrance oil in the alcohol. It now seems mean a reformulation which is heavier and “darker”. As soon as I tried it, I realised it was quite different. More incense and amber heavy and the citrus seemed a bit lost in it. I liked it but didn’t love it. I much preferred the EDT. It projected better and seemed a more balanced scent in my opinion. I find the EDP lasts indefinitely but sits so close to the skin that it’s almost undetectable a few centimetres away. On me. Probably not for other people. I still wear the EDP but when the bottle eventually runs dry, I will replace it with the EDT.

I love the EDT. It's warm all year where I am at, and the summers get humid as hell. It's perfect for those conditions.

I stay with Bleu De Chanel EDT, I wear it a lot at my work, I do like the Parfum version as well, but I love the rawness into the EDT a bit more bc there is less powdery noticeable, it fits more to a male, however I do like powdery parfums, but with the Bleu De Chanel versions I want that uplifting brightness into to keep clean without fading.

For me its the parfum that is the winner 🏆 there is something more complete about parfum version and I love the smooth feel in the air. For me its like a software update, version 1,2 and 3 the 3rd parfum update made the "software" run safe and smooth, for a better user experience.

I wish Chanel would release an Elixir version that is better in terms of projection, sillage, longevity and with added sweetness

I agree, BdC and Sauvage EDP are the best of both worlds, last the longest but... I love Parfum versions. Yes they dont last as much or project but the smell it so much better and refined. Every time I wear EDPs I get to the stage of me not liking certain notes where this doest happen with Parfum versions. I pay more and I get less, more skin scent but... I love the smell the best and the frag lingers around you when you move. This is what I need. The scent that will last 10 hours but be subtle and there when you move. This means I cannot overspray, I can enjoy tze smell for a whole day and not kill others around me.

I'm always severely triggered when people say BLUE de Chanel! XD My fingers didn't even type Blue these two times I tried to type it LOL Anyway, I just sold a ton of fragrances, I sold two Chanels, but I kept Bleu, because I agree, it's a staple.

Which Bleu de Chanel? After careful consideration ... Allure Homme! I'd love to know Chanel's sales figures for each of their perfumes, particularly the Bleu and Allure lines. Given that Chanel seem to be on a programme of launching a new version of Bleu every four years, what do you think the next version will be? Eau de Cologne? An extrait? Sport? Or maybe an "eau fraichissante"? An exclusif "Bleu Royale", perhaps?

EDP smells cleaner, and has that blue bright extroverted feel. Parfum, well thats the older brother, strong, bold, and quiet, great for intotroverts or anybody who wants to be a Gentleman and wants to smell like a man without punching you in the face

Since it is a fresh fragrance that was the ide a blue fragrance best is the Original EDT not the sweeter EDP or Parfum. So my vote goes to the EDT the best smelling of them all

As a Chanelophile, I have not tried Bleu. I'm guessing the Parfum would be my favorite ...? (that's what you're describing right now, as I watch.) We'll see where you place it. Chanel Allure Extreme is so much more interesting than the whole of BDC line up IMO

EDT for day, EDP for night. I don't like the Parfum. Drydown is too powdery for me and gives me a headache.

I really like the Parfum, but do not like the EDT or EDP at all. Their dry-downs are cheap and nasty on me.

Guys ! I got question plz . If someone has a bleu de Chanel bottle , plz advice the color of the juice because my bottle has yellow juice . I had mine in 2013 and when I spray it on my clothes nowadays it turn to unpleasant smell I don’t know why !

The Parfum is the best scent, but the EDT projects better.

The Parfum has so much sandalwood that it has almost lost the DNA of what Bleu is all about. The EDT is so wonderful and unique on so many levels. The EDP is much stronger and is has a fantastic dry down but still retains the DNA of the original Bleu. The EDT is more youthful while the EDP is more refined and grownup.

Do you also think a girl can wear the edp? It's my most favorite and i would like to grab that one once in a while from by boyfriend but i'm scary to go outside, maybe it's too masculine ?!

I love to wear the EDT to the Gym, the grapefruit opening is so zesty and additive, I love it! And I don’t really bump into anyone else wearing it because it’s quite expensive to wear as a gym fragrance. 🙌🏻 I can appreciate that the EDP is probably more complex but I wouldn’t ever wear BDC as a signature simply because it’s so popular.
