For someone who recently graduated from BMT Dec 29, 2021. I approve of this video 10000% everything mentioned is spot on and the memory work is definitely going to help alleviate some of the stress you won’t have to go through while at BMT as well as your PT.

As someone who graduated a couple months ago and still in tech school the best advice I can give is that bmt is a mental game. The MTIs will do their job to yell and do everything for discipline but it’s to help you, not to hurt you.

One of the best things my father taught me was the fives p's (prior preparation prevents poor performance). If you take advantage of the resources and advice available it will make your time at any basic training that much easier. Just noticed just got a new rank here on Airman Vision.

When I went through BMT this past May/June my whole mindset was “be the best you can be- and don’t take what they yell at you as personal attacks.” Those would be the top things I would recommend to anyone going through or about to go through. Also- I think the new reporting statement, even though it seems simple, would trip up A LOT of people since we’ve always been used to the old one 😂 Kyle, when did they change that? 😂 Must’ve been recent. Also- really enjoyed this video. Awesome job!

I think you should touch on the fact of what kind of people the mti’s actually are, they’re usually the best of the Air Force and super motivated and dedicated people.

First y’all March to the chow hall, say chow runners go, you go with a wingman up to the table, look at them and say whatever there rank and name is , trainee____ reports as ordered, flight ___ is prepared to enter the dining facility from the (west, north, east, etc) side. They’ll say seat them or whatever they feel like saying that say, make sure to repeat them so say , seat them yes sergeant thank you sergeant then March back out

@@AirmanVision that was actually a very blue, passive aggressive response. I’m not sure why this video was recommended to me since I only use RU-vid for workout videos, but this was my opinion. There are 4,387,287 videos explaining the same information. Why not open your platforms to discussing things that kids who join out of high school may not have had exposure to. I’ve used my website to discuss things like this as well as racial bias, unprofessional work environments/cultures, etc; Granted, there’s a reason certain content creators wouldn’t have that on the list if they aren’t likely to be exposed to it, so it makes sense. But there are greater barriers to prepare for in any military environment that should be discussed before an incident happens…. That’s all I’m saying.
