Nice lesson, and not to worry about feeling "somewhat stiff", the beauty of the guitar is that there are many ways to strum that same chord progression and have it sound very nice. A great example is Pete Townsend of The Who, he rarely uses the same strumming pattern in Magic Bus, and they all sound great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. I was trying to help beginners to get an idea of strumming patterns but I find it really hard to stick to one when I'm playing, so it's nice to know I'm in good company : )
I think it fair to say everyone watching appreciates the effort you have put into the sheet music however, I also think its fair to say that most CBG owners like the simplicity of the instrument along with the wonderful sounds it makes and would like to keep things less complicated. just my thoughts and wishing you lots of success...
The PDF doesn't show strumming patterns. This is great, hymns seem to be a great way to get around copyright and still do a song lesson. Where was the opening filmed at? I still have to draw the strumming on wish more online would post them.
