I was told recently to make sure your punched holes in the feeder lid are actually facing outward not inward (if inward, the bees can cut their tongues???)...any truth to this?

We copy how kelly beekeeping and dadant sells them. Punched inward. I have no idea if they cut their tongue or not. I'm not sure how you'd be able to tell except for they'd stop using the feeder. Ours don't stop using the feeders until the flow is on. I'll do some research and if I come up with something else I'll be sure to post about it.

You could have purchased a pneumatic staple gun from Harbor Freight for about $25.00 and banged out those 6 frames in the time it took you to drive 1 nail with your Hitachi nail driver?? 🤔

Have to admit, that is so gross that you put that pest fecal matter back into another hive after sun-killing the worms, do you sell the honey that comes out of those hives? Nasty

As long as you don’t take too much and she’s not on any of the frames you pull, you should be fine. Typically the queen won’t be on any honey frames anyway.

Great topics ! BUT.... You run the Graphics and Associated Text way to Fast, to catch what you are saying on the subject !!!
