Well done for sticking to it and trying to figure it out yourself. 1. Wetting the hair is essential to keeping clean sections. 2. Stand in front of the section you're going to cut. When doing palm to palm/vertical sections, if your a right hander, start from the right hand side at the temple peak point. 3. Keep your sections about a combs width or a fingers width so you don't over direct. 4. When using the comb make sure you have enough tension before you make a cut. 5. Pull the hair straight out towards you. Before cutting make sure your client's head is dead straight. Any movement from your client while cutting will result in the hair being uneven. 6. Cross check every three to 4 sections just to make sure you're on the right track Good luck and keep going 👍
