Man i just graduated school and was cutting with my wahls & Babyliss boosted fx clippers in school, as a graduation gift I purchased these lo pro one, that lever is wayyy different are you having a problem from no guard to the 1? It’s like the half guard closed wasn’t needed but I figured that out too late😢 . Starting in a shop tomorrow see if I can mess around with it more. Great vids keep grinding ✊🏾
Thank you bro! And congrats on graduating!! You got this! That has definitely been an area I've struggled the most. I did adjust my clippers though and it's helped. It's never the same though from person to person. Sometimes the .5 half way will do the trick, sometimes fully closed is required and sometimes if the hair is really thin .5 fully open does it. It all depends. From what my mentor has told me though getting another clipper with a thicker blade will help in that area in general. Hope this helps 🤝🏼
bro im learming too and your cut came out really good. one tip i have is set your first guideline with your clipper lever close it will be easier to erase it. good luck.
Definitely practise is number one. You learn by taking action. But finding a mentor, someone that is willing to coach you and walk you through the steps is a major key. You can practise all day, but if you're not practising the right way, you're wasting a lot of time.
When I first stated I did the method that you do now and even though I didn’t realize it when I was fading up I would push the fade up trying to take out. As time goes on you’ll get better and more comfortable just pick a method and stay with it till you master it
100%. I've found that taking out that initial line, setting in the 1 open and then fading down from there into the 1 open has helped me a lot. That's what I've stuck to now after testing some different methods.
Will be releasing that video soon bro! But i'll let you know now cause I remember how it felt getting such a low amount of reps in and it sucks. I volunteer at the salvation army and places where they help people in need with food, showers and haircuts. This has been a game changer for me. 2 times a week I'm able to go and get pretty much as many reps in as possible within a 2-3 hour time period. It's honestly a cheat code.
@@LJCutIt oh man thanks alot I came back and actually asked around on volunteer type program there’s a opportunity for me. At church service they have homeless they help out and allow me to give them haircuts
