This is my day one of learning flute I searched flute tutorial and within 10 second I subscribed , now making notes and trying to get the sound better ..... It's tough and felt amazing while practicing after 20 minutes my head kind of started getting lighter and felt a bit 😵but felt greatt . Got to know my breath , how weak it is to blow a flute 😅. Both higher and lower and higher octave sound the same, if I try to force and increase the pressure for higher octave, the sound is harsh, not soft at all. I believe my flute has really high notes, how do I check scale on my flute? I can play almost everything but I want to play things like "a song of fire and ice" but I cant because of harsh higher octave.

I'm asthmatic and a heart patient. Doctor suggested me to do the activities that increase my breath.. so i found this is the best way to do exercise of breathing. I love music.. it is beneficial for both breath and heart. Coz i felt good. Thanks for this...💕 May God bless you sir🍀

Hi Sudhanshu, my sounds are pretty much the same when I try playing the instrument. As in when I cover all holes and I am getting a consistent high note when I open the first 3 holes. Don't know where I am going wrong?

Hi, thanks for the lesson. I have a small flute and it is easy to play lower notes on lower octave but quite impossible for me to play all open holes in the lower octave and forget about the higher octave. My flute is a small B scale one.

I am facing problem with the lower notes (sa re ga ma). When I am playing, they are coming out in higher pitch and the notes after that are coming out normally. What mistake I'm doing ? I am blowing as minimum as possible, but either no sound is coming, or in high pitch (probably higher octave).

Sudhanshu Hi! I have bought a C Medium Scale Bamboo flute. Can you tell me if in a C scale flute there are some differences? For example, when I play the lower notes in low octave they become more shrill even with low pressure. Its hard to play them in lower octave as they sound full airy & nothing else. Otherwise I am getting good at blowing technique.

Your flute is good you just need to understand exact blowing pressure on each hole and to control the pressure according to low and high octave.
