Check out the Arrows Trekker rc plane here: bit.ly/376bG0Q Could the Arrows Trekker RC plane be the best beginner RC airplane of 2022? There is no better way to find out than to see Abby maiden this rc plane. The Arrows Trekker is a RTF (ready to fly) set up with everything you need to get this in the air in the box. Hi rc sailors I really want to get in to the hobby of flying rc planes I am doing research and saving up for a good beginner plane and but I would like to know if you ever tested or are going to test the: FMS 1220mm (48") Ranger RTF (Floats included) and yes I know RU-vid is full of videos about this plane but I like your channel the most I just like the way you guys are explaining about the plane and always excited about it
I’ve never flown rc plane and would like to enter this hobby. I’m looking at this v/s the aeroscout. Which one would you recommend? Which is the more forgiving? Also, can you do a comparison video between the two? Or would you suggest to go entirely different route and get Sport Cub S 2?
Hi, nice to hear that you are interested in the RC plane flying. Just my humble opinion, if you are totally new, I would suggest something which is cheap, easy to fly, not require big air field, and make no dangerous to anyone (almost) even when it crash.. and most importantly it is a forgiving plane. So, I would strongly suggest the smaller good behaviour mini series of those from Eachine Mini Series (Mini P51D Mustang, Mini Sport Cub 500, Mini T28 Trojan), these 3 are good flyer, especially the Mini Sport Cub.
+1 on the advice. A park flier, small high wing plane with gyro is best. I like the omphobby t720. Very durable will handle a lot of grass crashes with little or no damage. Check out videos for it. Then when you can keep it in the air without too much trouble, the aeroscout is a good second plane. Very stable and predictable. This arrows plane looks like an advanced beginner plane, sensitive to input. Too much elevator movement. Just my opinion.
I just jumped in the hobby with both small and big Aeroscouts and had no luck with the mini but the large one has been a dream in just a few weeks I'm killing it and loving it alot. I'm planning on my next plane now!
@ajc45, i wouldn't get the: UMX Sport Cub S. You need alittle Weight. Try the UM Champ S+ or the: UM Cessna 182 S. Or possibly the: Mini Apprentice, all Planes Mentioned that you can get through Horizon Hobby or your Local Hobby Shop.
FANTASTIC MAIDEN ABBY! I LOVE to watch you FLY...YES you can, YES you can, YES you can!! I don't stop blinking, I stop BREATHING!! Thanks Saylors for making another GREAT review!! 💟👍😘
Great flying as always Abby. Good to see 👀 both of ya sharing the screen. The runway looks like it needs to be mowed as well. The aero does look like a real plane. Plane's come in all shapes, sizes & configurations. This plane is sorta your standard configuration with slight changes depending on manufacturer. One could conclude it as slightly dull with no style. Like my wardrobe 🩳👕🧦choices 😎 🤭🤭😏😏. Abby more fly time, don't let Nate be the Walmart special ( Airhoggg🐷🐷)🤗🤗🤗. ⚓⚓👍💛💜💚👍🩳👕🐷👍⚓⚓.
....from one flyer who seldom flies to another who may not get to fly so much - slow the plane down and program in rates if it will let you do that. If you have stabilization, then you should be able to trim it out and it should fly hands off.
Looks like a nice docile plane, great for beginners! Not available in Canada, unfortunately. Although I have been flying quadcopters for years, and had done my ground school for my airplane pilot's license, I haven't flown an RC plane. So back in Mach, I picked up a second hand DX6e transmitter, and a little while ago, a copy of RealFlight RC plane simulator, and the dongle that acts as a receiver, and have been practicing flying RC planes with it. As I am probably going to be flying mostly at my sister's farm, I won't have a paved runway, and will have what is technically known as a "unmiproved air field", that is, grass and dirt, so I wanted a plane with bushtires on. The UMX Turbo Timber BNF basic fits that bill, and is available here in Canada for ~$200 CDN, so I am going to order it in a few days. I have been using the flight sim to learn to fly it. We have an organization up here in Canada like your AMA, but it is the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC). They provide insurance and all the usual stuff. I'm joining them before I start flying when I get the plane. They have a reciprocal agreement with the AMA down there so if I travel, I can fly and be insured!
hi, guys cool video as always bravo to Abby for flying again. I have an issue, guys. I cant use your link cos they will not send it to the Uk. boo oo so sorry I can't help but not use your links. keep up the awesome work
I think one of the problems with the term "beginner" is that really, there are levels within that group. I consider myself an advanced beginner, I can fly most high wing, lower speed planes without worry of crashing. A true beginner needs a plane that will survive inevitable crashes to learn controls. Or hours on a simulator. This arrows plane is not a beginning beginner's plane, it is too sensitive, too much elevator authority. I'd call this an intermediate to advanced beginner plane. The aeroscout is a much more stable flying plane.
I’m drawing details now while watching you fly and My eyes are all wet with not blinking same :) 👍👍👍you always do a brill job of flying :) you go girl 😜👍
Love the channel, but your grammar could use some tweaks though. For example, instead of "You're doing good" @ 2:07 I would suggest "You're doing well."
Thanks! We love making improvements 😁 Please watch more of our videos and leave time stamps where we might be able to improve more. Have a wonderful day! 👍⚓️
Ace 😎 I've seen the ST MODEL MX2 (used) for £70 here in the UK. Would you recommend it? This one here in the video is £250. I've never flown a plane before and I don't know which to choose from as my first. I have RC boats and cars and want to try other vehicles now. Thanks. 🤘😎🤘
Way to go Abby...I just got a The Trekker...PNP...put the vector in with a futaba receiver ...waiting for a good day here in NY...you made me feel at ease to go maiden it soon ...We all need Nates commentary...hes taught me a lot through out the years
It sounded like she was flying at full throttle. Many trainer planes will be set to climb at full throttle, level flight at mid throttle, and descend at lower throttle. If she had just lowered the throttle she probably wouldn't have needed to fight it.
