What if you hiyori a faceup card does the card from hand come face down?

afaik, it doesn't complete, you can't add it to hand

well in real gameplay sabo will protect him either way, i was at locals last night and my buddy was playing gecko, he played gecko and played cerbarus after playing sabo then i was like idk if thats covered because it was played after, they called judges over and judges say that its fine because the card doesnt specify.... which idk

@@tracesayre6788 that judge was incorrect. Anything played after Sabo is not protected. He protects only what’s currently on the field.

it can happen and one of the cons of the deck for sure, it's difficult to survive sometimes but that's why you have sabo and you have to sequence correctly to be a 7 or 9k leader every turn. gecko is tough, but doable.

So how does a gecko leader approach a matchup v by luffy

Double Sabo is huge in your game plan for sure. Outside of that, I’d say hold your kids till mid to late games as well as hold onto your counters. Hard playing 5c Luffy is great to help get you to 0 life faster along with potentially drawing you card all while being an 8k body. You’ll spend the beginning of the game just taking life so by the time you’re at zero, you should have enough resources to counter out in tougher situations.

yeah, that and Yamato, among other things, are very tough

You could argue that for any deck though once end game rolls around hody just seals the deal vs anyone

@@MaliEndz not really because BY Luffy is often at 0 lives after playing 2 x 5 cost luffy,sabo or ace from life.
