I’ve loved this type of music long before becoming a catechumen. So far I've just been learning bits and pieces of random chants I come across by ear, but so glad I found this channel! Maybe this is the start of something beautiful. I would love to be able to singthese with confidence to elevate my prayer life and to honor God.

Enjoying this premiere - I am not a Christian, but a musician - and my culture has a very basic liturgical music very similar to the singing of the Gregorian Chants and this is the reason I am finding time to understand. I am also trying to have some literature review on the subject and then take my culture further. You are a great teacher. Love from India

Hello Mary. Yes, I have been singing and studying Gregorian Chant for 25+ years now (since 1996) and directing for 15+ years (since 2008).

Thanks for this info! My church started putting the music for some of the congregational chants in the worship aid, which I appreciate, but they haven't given us any instruction yet. 😆 For those of us who have some familiarity with modern notation, we can usually "guess" to some extent, but there are definitely things that aren't familiar.
