How do i run Action Replay Max in swiss? Do need the disc? My gamecube wont read certain cheats on swiss it appears. Should i just install a xeno chip? I bought this, should i just get someone to add the xeno in as I can not soldier myself?
nkit ISOs work fine. All my games are compressed using nkit and titled GameNane.nkit.iso and work perfectly fine compressed. For example, my GBA player disc ISO is in the root folder and works fine at under 3MB in size.
Thank you so much for mentioning that! Mine are all nkit.iso also, and when he said that, I worried that I might have to convert them all back to .iso again. Wasn’t looking forward to the extra steps. 😅
I only got 1 question. Can this run all vamecube games in ISO format? I have DOL-001 everyone keeps giving shady replies instead of just saying yes or no.
Hey, thanks very much for the thorough video. I was fussing with my gamecube for a few hours yesterday and kept getting the black screen while the power was on, after seeing your video to shorten the wires (mine are currently 15cm long each...) I'm hoping that fixes the issue. Best regards to you, dude.
didn't fix mine either and i bought my pico from aliexpress ...., i also have a black screen and i wired everything correctly . Even made my cables as short as possible just so i would have a spark but to no avail . I think using thicker wires that go to the 3rd and 2nd leg of the chip will solve the problem and the ground wire that goes to the mobo and the pico chip ( i haven't tried it yet ) outside thicker wire i wouldn't know how to make the pico work properly. I have updated my pico and putted games on my SD card and did everything according to the book and still i have a black screen aswell BUT my gamecube runs tho i get a led light and everything works except no video output . I have used the same pico on 2 gamecubes and both show the same problem . could also be a bad picoboot chip ? ( maybe ) i don't know The pico blew up my crystal oscillator on my 1st gamecube mobo and now i need to replace that one in order for my gamecube to work again .
@@mbcrump Question… do the game saves get stored on the same SD card that the ISO’s are on? Or do they get stored on a separate memory card in slot A or B? I’ve watched a dozen tutorial about picoboot and no one ever covers that part.
