Yep… it really depends on if you plan to use those amenities in the packages. We wouldn’t say the casual dining was a disappointment… just have to plan it out. The food was pretty good! Hope you have a wonderful Princess experience!!! Thanks!!!😊

Yep… always do the math and book what works for you. We usually only book drink packages when they’re included in a fare… we just don’t drink enough to justify it. 😊

But… standing by the door, swiping the key fob, with a fancy cocktail in each hand was Beth’s favorite nighttime activity! 🤪😊🤪

@@Taste-Try-Travel I mean, just didn't tell her and she'll have a blast :) Especially if she's had enough cocktails it may not matter :) Actually I have an idea. When she does this wait for like the 20th time then secretly put your phone near the door or panel and have it blare a winning slot machine sound ;)

It includes the tips… you do not need to tip extra unless you feel you want to! Have an amazing 35 days onboard! 😊

Splitting the packages would probably work out fine… just be sure to hand the correct card to the crew member when you’re using a particular perk. Let us know how it goes!😊

​@@Taste-Try-Travel - I wanted to split our packages BUT it was required that TWO in the cabin MUST have the same package. We have used packages for the last 4 cruises - our first package purchase could be bought for only ONE in the cabin which suited us really well as I don't drink much and at that time there were no other benefits only the drinks. The last 3 cruises required that if there were TWO in the cabin each had to have the SAME package. (My guess regarding the original drinks package is that too many people were buying one package and then getting free drinks for their partners). Also the levels (eg Platinum/Elite) include free internet up to certain amounts - so having a package you lose out on that on the access of internet due to your level. With regard to the open door & prizes - I checked into this while on board and was told you could only have one entry per person per day for the prizes (and as you said - only on sea days). Packages are ok but require you to know roughly what you would spend if you didn't have a package. I now have to get into 'training' to get value from the packages. LOL Also there are no refunds on packages if you happen to get sick - we've had an unlucky few years - catching covid on one cruise where husband got it first and then a few days later I did but he got a bigger refund of fares then I did even though I was restricted (virtually confined to cabin also) to where I could go (eg not anywhere that served food or drinks or the theatres etc). The next cruise my husband got gastro so lost a few days - which means a few days of the packages for both of us was unused as I was acting as nurse/laundry maid. And then our last cruise I had just finished chemo so was definitely not fit enough to drink/eat as normal the 14 days. The crew were fantastic to us during that cruise - so concerned and caring and worried I didn't like the food as I could only eat a few bites of each course. We are looking forward to our 33 day trip in April 2025! (with fingers/toes crossed) that neither of us fall ill again and we can benefit fully from our package purchases.

Hi Tracy… buying photos by themselves can get pricey. Depending on your sailing they will give you a bundle price. I’ve seen before “5 prints and their digital for $89 or 10 prints and their digital for $169”.

There are a couple things you can share but not everyone gets all the benefits. We list those in detail in the video.

Your first cruise on Sky Princess… yay!!! How awesome! The food on Princess, we would say, is pretty middle-of-the-pack… right there with NCL. We would rate Celebrity and MSC better and Carnival and Royal below. We found the food in the main dining room to be pretty creative, and presented very very well (it definitely looked pretty on the plate) but found the taste to be fairly bland… not bad at all, just not very exciting to the taste buds😜. You can absolutely get ice cream with the Premium package. On Sky, we believe the ice cream is at Gelato across from the International Cafe on Plaza deck.

Another review stated that they were able to get a banana split as an alternative. The specialty desserts appeared to be on the pricier side of the options so you might be able to trade down without issues. Never hurts to just ask. Those specialty desserts are just way over the top for a diabetic to have often.

Well, for this video, that shirt is from Old Navy… but I mostly get shirts when I see a sale! 😮🤑😮 Teespring is where I get a lot of t-shirts… you can get any design you can think of there… and, of course, Carhartt for shirts that will actually last. 🤪

Princess is not unlimited drinks. Max is 15 per day (per person with the package) and that includes specialty coffees, bottled water, special juices and alcoholic drinks (each drink can be worth up to $15 each).

Yes they can dine with you, the package would cover the two who bought it and you would pay regular price for the children. If I understand the rules correctly, the food or drinks placed with OceanNow has to be made from the phone connected to wifi with the package. So if you have the package then they would have to use your phone. If they wanted to be able to use their own phone, it is a $15 charge for the cruise to use that function.

There is no price difference (avg. per day), but it is only available in the first 24 hours onboard your cruise. 😊

Yes you can. You can only have 1 device connected at a time, but can switch back and forth as needed between a bunch of devices.

Yes. 2 devices but only one can be active at a time.

On the premier, they offer 2 specialty meals. Does that vary if you’re on a 5 day or 3 week cruise? Seems like it should be per week.

International cafe! It usually sits between the cooler cases… but if you don’t see it, ask the server there, they’ll get you a huuuge slice! 😋

The huge slices of cake in the International Cafe are considered one of the specialty desserts?

Hi Barbara. You do not have to purchase any package to enjoy your cruise… they are there to enhance. There are several options if you want to enjoy specialty restaurants. 1. You can book them before your cruise and pay for them. This is done on the app. 2. Once you board the ship, you can go to the reservation desk and make reservation.

Sorry, also there is no limit on restaurant reservations. You can book one for each night. Log onto the app with your reservation number and you will see options from there.

Hey there. First… so happy you get to spend 10 days on Princess, how exciting!!! You can’t choose what day you want. It has to be the full trip if you book in advance. You have up until the second day on the ship to add the package. I agree. It’s a lot of money when you are on a longer cruise. You have to break down what you think you will really use and see if it’s worth it. Will you drink a lot? Will you get a lot of pictures? Do you like premium desserts? I would say the drinks are the biggest cost so if you think you might only have a drink here or there… it might be better to not do the package. $1600 is a lot. I personally might have a hard time spending that but you know you and how you like to cruise. Is it better to have it paid in advance so you can have an all inclusive feel?? Or just buy things as you go?

Theoretically, yes, with the Premier package, you absolutely can… order as much as you want (that’s kinda what we did in Planks). In reality, the wait staff is so used to limiting it to one of each, that you might have to help them understand what you’re doing. They’re only human. 😊

Princess is owned by Carnival and they have the 15 drink limit on all their ships.

We understand that it isn’t for everyone. The cruising world is for different tastes. Yes it is expensive no doubt but we just put information out there for people looking to have an all inclusive cruise.

Hey there! Since the drinks are the biggest cost, I would skip the package and just get wifi by itself. Would save you some $$$$$

Do you need the WiFi in order to text people on board? Other cruise ships offer a text message service apart from WiFi
