Looking to pursue a career in business? In this video, Thomas from TRU Academic Advising provides guidance on the different business programs offered by TRU and how to get started on your degree. TRU offers a 120 credit Bachelor of Business Administration degree with various major options and the opportunity to add a minor. Additionally, TRU offers three 60 credit diploma programs in Management, Accounting Technician, and Associate of Commerce. The Business program is an open program, so if you have completed grade 12 or equivalent, you will be accepted into the program. However, specific courses will have high school requirements for English and Math, and Thomas provides guidance on upgrading options. Thomas also provides an overview of what a typical first and second year would look like for a student pursuing a degree in Business Administration and recommends using the checklists and program plans available on the TRU website.
