Thank you much Sherrill. I do have a few panels but didn't even know where to begin but now I do. Such a great video and you explain everything very nice especially for beginning quilters like me.
Ahi Cheryl , I love your detailed instructions. I have a problem. I want to use the serpentine stitch like you did, did you use the walking stitch..? What size was the length of your stitch k I have a baby lock Soprano machine. I found the Serpentine stitch on my machine, butt. My stitches are so tiny. Do you have any videos showing you actually sewing a quilt using the serpentine stitch?
Thank you for such a helpful video! But I didn;t quite understand what a panel fabric is. Is this a whole fabric with panel prints or did you cut out each panel and then stiched them together? Sorry, English is not my native language and I could misunderstand some points.
Hi Pynna. A fabric panel is a large piece of fabric that has many squares on it or a very large design. You can add a decorative border to make it into a quilt or even a wall hanging. Here is a video link that shows many different panels. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i0gaC9ICl0Y.html
Hi Jessica. I purchased this panel a few years ago, and I don't remember where I bought it and I don't know the name of the fabric. I purchase most of my panel fabrics on the internet. When you are on the internet enter the words "quilt fabric" and there will be many fabric websites listed. Select one, and then enter the words "panel fabrics." Happy sewing.
