@@LudietHistoria It really makes no sense, but it's been that way for all nations since 1.31 I usually keep some rival slots saved up for that purpose.
the best way to keep the vassals under control is to declare war on ajam, enable scutage, let them fight a lot so they lose a crapton of money, manpower and troops. When you end the war with ajam all your vassals will be pennyless/troopless thus liberty desire will plummet if you increase your army. Then you can annex them at you leisure
What he said about vassals is 100% accurate. Vassals are cute. They'll free you lands all from rebels, core territories for you and other cute sh*t. If only it wasn't for that uncute liberty desire.
Integrating Sistan first, then Afghanistan, allows you to integrate all 5 without much trouble a bit earlier (only a -60 relations penalty from integrating vassals when you start the final annexations). With all of those diplo slots, I generally attack QQ to release Iraq and Syria (lots of reconquest that happens to also block Ottoman expansion into Mamluks) while also trying to get vassals that border the provinces needed to form Mughals (Mewat is a good one but might need a vassal chain). It can be inconvenient to have your capital so isolated, but it doesn't take long to make the connection and it is very helpful to have the Mughal bonuses earlier.
Mughals is imo even stronger for a WC. To not care about cultures, having islam and its religion spread and the highest CCCR in the game, while sitting in the richest region with expansion possibilities in all directions and an insane amount of development from the start make this country the best for this kind of endeavor.
Two things: - If you have good relations with Afghanistan you can size that one province and integrate the rest for free. - I just did a run where I formed Mughals as Mamluks, sure it will be later but it is really strong for some other reasons. First, you no-CB Byz, block Otto and can actually take them out quite quickly solo. Second, no-CB Granada and grab the amazing monument and block the Spanish missions. They are usually the main power so a slight speed bump for them is great. This was a super easy WC after that, once you get to India it is smooth sailing.

I did a Mughals run following your previous guide. I did manage to form The Caliphate, took a lot of land but unfortunately not the whole world. One day though, one day...
I think you forgot the fact that if you take the transoxiana's cores on Uzbek, you lose the annexation monthly tick because these new added provinces aren't your cores
Bullshit, yes it takes alil bit but these are free cores, and you can also could take just one province more and you could also release casachstan, so what is the point?
@@granockss9548 before writing nonsense, go and try it yourself first. they are indeed free cores for transoxiana. but they aren't Timurid's cores, hence when annexing transoxiana, you will have to pay diplo points instead of waiting for the month tick. that's the point
@@granockss9548 The alternate is to immediately war north into Nogai after integrating base size Transoxiana. This gives you a line into Orthodox lands to cripple Muscovy and also gives you a piece of Kazakh for the standard Northern March release.
You should use the favors mechanic with your ally more, you can use 20 favors to reduce the opinion of their ally you want to attack and they won't join even 90% sure they would break the alliance

Kept the empire together without all the estates bonuses. Its really easy if you go after ajam early and maintance your army (make sure its at least 30k
Wonderful guide! I am casual player but it was easy to catch up with you after 1-2 tries! First attempt was unlucky with Ajam having 3 allies as Uzbeks Nogais and Horde.... Second try i had problems with my vassals by excessively helping them in battles.... Then i truly mastered manipulative approach and got Mughals at your decade. Only one question to the community - how you deal with government capacity? I would like to go for world conquest as far as i can but nation already existing on it's limits (Do we ignore it and go on?)
Alternatively you could take land of vassals. Action of making them smaller makes them more loyal for the small ones. You could also use their troops to attack people and forts to ensure a better troop ratio compared to vassals.
@@theemperor-wh40k18 Well, unless I went as Sweden or Brandenburg I can't exactly run a Space Marines WC. And I dunno if I wanna do my first WC as a HRE Prussian Emperor which seems the only way to survive their governing capacity issues
I usually avoid royal marrying my vassals, and just improve relations and wait for them to send royal marriage to me, so that when Shah Rukh dies I keep the rm
I have one question please : how to deal with institution? I tried Mongols one time and struggle with institution. It was really hard to boost (despite the dev) and really long to appear in my provinces.
It depends on the nation. If a nation expands fast its good to give the plus 1 mana priviledges as when u expand u get crownlands but if u wont expand much it will be harder to get your crownlands back
How do you manage the corruption bro? Once I played Mughals after hundreds of years or more, I confronted with so much unreasonable corruption that is impossible to deal with it even I went with espionage ideas. The state was overpowered and big in the ahead of time and corruption was growing with it simultaneously. It is exactly "0" but eats my money every mounth. (I have 2k hours in the game by the way.)
You dont get corruption from too much land in 1.31, that was a mechanic that was in the game before. If you talking about corruption from overextention just invest money in lowering corruption, should be enough
I Dont think you should Take Admin First. Take Humanist First If you want to Go for a world conquest. Then Go influence or you will ein Out of Diplom Points. After that Go Admin Diplo or offensive. Based in your spare Points
Here's a little tip: Restart unthil Qara has a militarist ruler, he then can attack Ajam while your at war with Ajam, see which provinces Qara wants, and let him have those. Peace out, and as soon as Qara peaces out, you immediatly do a reconquest for the rest. So if your planing on forming the Mughals, you don't have to wait for the peace treaty to end to get the rest of your cores. And if you really want the most optimale start with the least AE in India, restart aswell unthil Delhi allies Bengal, otherwise he will usually loose the war with Sirhind, and you want him to win, so that you can attack Sirhind, which will only have 2 provinces left, and vassalise him. Then do a reconquest for the lands you need to form the Mughals, i recommend to take Doaba for your self, but Delhi goes to Sirhind for the lowered AE, and then just take the province from him. Alternativly you can attack whichever holds Margalla and release Punjab, which will give you reconquest over Sirhind lands.
That's extremely easy man, if you want the achievement, you have to do it as one of Timurid's starting vassals, not as Timurids, and I plan on covering Afghanistan for that achievement!

@@LudietHistoria Also forgot to mention this I might have found an exploit that can make conquering even faster. If you attack the vassal of a Coalition member in 1.31 it only brings in the overlord and their direct allies not the coalition despite what the co-belligerent screen says. It definitely has sped up some of my conquests.
Still Mongolia -> Uzbek culture to form Mughal then smash China for Confulands I'd think. I've been messing with it a bit and the real hangup is the bit after you're in Samarkand and Instituted.
I completed Mughals WC in 1.29 a little bit different way. I didn't rival Otto and got alliance with them as soon as possible, although it costs additional diplo points. having finished first Ajam war I attacked Kara in order to get border with mamluks. Meanwhile, I got baluchi to seize Iranian culture group. usually it took me up to 10 years to complete these goals. At this moment I was able to call Otto in the war against mamluks, got few provinces in Syria and cut off Otto from expending into near East and Egypt. Otto are weaker than they could be and you can attack them whenever you want. Later expansion is EVERYWHERE!
Ludi how did you get them to give you the island of hormuz i had 99% warscore had peaced out his allies fully occupied him and killed all his armies but he would not give the island due to not occupying a local fort.
This is so inconsistent. It is rarely available and I'm not sure how. I tried several combinations between having smaller army, disloyal vassals, loans, no rivals, all rivals, allies, no allies and i mostly did not get the option to rival them in the first few months. This is as of 1.34

how about to switch religion to Hinduism after forming Mughals? Hinduism monuments are great, like Harmandir Sahib (-15 min autonomy in territories) in Multan and Angkor Wat (-10 tech cost), Prmbahan Temple (+2% missionary strenght and +1 missionary), i know that some muslim Monuments are g8 too (like Registan and Alhambram but we don't take Alhambra before age of Absolutism)
Muslims have the Dhimmi. Of you're not doing one Faith WC there really is no reason to convert out of it. Even if it is a one faith , Catholic and Sunni are still the two best religions for it.
Pro gamer move: Abandon Sistan as a vassal, you don't have cores on it and can't annex it instantly, AND, it will not add to the cumulative liberty desire by vassals to your other subjects. Its much cleaner to just conquer sistan in a future war rather than diplo annexing anyway. This also let's you annex all of your vassals, at once, immediately. (Although khorasan is a great march if you decide to keep him around)
@@CharlieKellyEsq the privilege is removed when you have 0 vassals, He kept sistan around to keep strong duchies going until he got another vassal in india.
The second war should be against QQ and take land so you can release Syria and Iraq. Then you can reconquest againts Mamluks and block Ottoman from going south.
@@LudietHistoria I think many people underestimate Ming, while it is WC monster. 1) You can get to 45% CCR in about 50 years (decree + 4th celestial reform + admin ideas --> prosperity tributaries stability to quickly increase mandate, with new patch and forbidden palace it is even easier) 2) You have easy opportunity to get rid of this weak ruler early on 3) You have casus belli on every bordering nation - force tributary. Instead making tributaries just take some land. Tributaries will pay for unjustified demands 4) Harmonised religion acts like true faith. In one harmonisation you can make the whle Europe true faith 5) You have the greatest tool to limit aggresive expansion - tributaries. And all small / medim nations would be eager to become one, removng them from coalition pool. 6) Tributaries act like regular subjects in terms of expanding coring range, allowing you to easily teleport to India, Africa and Europe. For example make Oirat tributary after sacrfisiing your hopeless ruler. Than attack Chagatai - you can take and core provinces bordering Oirat. Then you have 2 paths: tribute Uzbek and kill Transoxiana or vice versa. Start eating Muscovy in 1470 and Ottomans in 1490. They have no power yet compering to yours. 7) When all the powers are gone, start eating tributaries 8) Prevent devastation early - it is eating your mandate. Be aware though only states can be devastated! Just keep fortified north and east China, destate the rest 9) Separatist rebels? Tributaries are stupid enough to kill minor stacks for you I know Ming isn't popular with its non-existing mission tree, but national ideas are VERY strong, including -10% idea cost as TRADITION! Followed by early discipline, some economy boosts and impressive ambition of 30% improve relation. I am also aware having low mandate is annoying, but you can really ignore those few years when you need to raise it from 30 to 50. While all reforms are done, 100% mandate make Ming exceptionally stable
@@enKageKagen They still are a nation really tricky to play with and can't be considered "easy" when you have to understand the game a lot to just keep a stable country. Going WC is hard with mandate when you are trying your 1rst one. I mean, I do get Ming is a powerhouse. But they are hard af to play with in comparison with a lot of other country. Russia, Autria, Spain, England, France, Otto, almost any horde, or timurid are way way easier to do a 1rst WC than ming. Because for a lot of nation, the hardest is to manage to get a strong early game, once done, you just steamroll. Ming can't after early game, because you need to take care of mandate.
So it is time for tutorial how to pass all (or all but one) celestial reforms in less than 50 years. After that moment Ming with 100 mandate is far more stable than every nation you mentioned. @Ludi et historia I think I know what video you can do next :)
