I have no idea how I ended up here so early! Do you have any videos about getting confident wearing a wig out? I'm losing my hair to chronic illness and I got a wig I really like, but no matter how much I work on it, I feel weird wearing it in public, you know? Do you just get used to it eventually?
Try going to a store where no one knows you at. It helps to finally wear it out the anxiety decreases by half the first time and then even more every time after that.

Great video! What is the best way to hide lace that's too dark on a lace front unit? concealer makes it ultra obvious. You can easily make light lace darker, but hiding darker lace on paler skin is such a nightmare. so far I have only worn these wigs with a hat but I don't wanna toss these older ones that come from a time when transparent lace was not even a thing on 200$ hair. :) Thanks for your help!!
I have issues with psoriasis and other autoimmune issues so I'm learning what i can with wigs the last year. The biggest issue I have is my head shape. I can't seem to secure wig grips well. The back of my head is flatter i guess so that is probably why. Do you have any techniques for wearing wig grips for different head shapes to prevent sliding?
Do you have a video of your go to Amazon wigs? I am kinda new to wig wearing and I feel like o have really stepped up my game. But o spend so much time plucking concealing the knots etc. I would really love to confidently go glueless but I really really don’t want to shave my bio hair. So I’d love to be able to wear a wig hold band preferably the velvetty kind with a bald cap with a side sweep bang (? Lol I forgot the formal name) could you maybe suggest some wear and go wigs from Amazon? Who can beat their return policy
Check out Haircube. They are a good budget friendly option. Most of their wigs are heat safe but just start low if you need to make any alterations. I do have a few bang wigs from them and you might have to trim them to fit your fave shape otherwise I would definitely check them out. 😊
I want to know if I can use Cantu Protective Styles by Angela products to wash and condition my wigs. It says it’s for weave, wigs , braids , and locs .
