Hi, guys. My name is Jesse M. Simons, and I wear synthetic wigs. So my channel is going to be all about wig education. Here, you're going to find helpful wig tips, tricks, hacks. My easy to follow wig education video should be able to help you on any stage of your wig journey. Loved all your tips! Just bought a new wig that came not as ash blonde as I would like. Would have loved to see a side by side of the before and after!
How can I tag you or alert you to a video I just watched & tried? It needs to be seen by more wig wearers or have someone like you or Wig Sister make a vid on it. Beach waves with a cold curling iron and a steamer. Game changer!!!
If you live in a warmer climate you may see some kinking. I use felt I between the clips and the wig and don’t have this issue with these for the most part but if I do see a kink or mark I can usually smooth it out without to much work.
I have a wig coming in with super long bangs because it's meant to give you plenty to work with for anime-style hairstyles. I'm so nervous to cut the bangs but I definitely will be using what you showed in the video!
I want to tone the oarnge out my wig that's already an oarnge ish red level 8 to more of a strawberry blonde. I'm hoping this will help if i use blue rit dye instead. Thoughts?
This won’t lift any color at all so if your wanting to “lighten” the wig that won’t do anything to it. You can email me photos and I can see what help I can offer. Wigsupport@jmsimons.com
Madluvv is a scam site. I ordered from them and then received an email from them telling me that it was a subscription and that I would be receiving future automatic orders. No where on their site did I see any indication that I was signing up for a subscription. I then checked Trustpilot only to find that they have a very low rating and all the reviewers with one exception stated that it was a scam.
I don’t notice any tinting on the lace. Only the material part of the cap construction. I have not done this on a full lace wig though so I can’t say if it would tint a wig construction like that or not for sure. I need to get one to try it on!
You can cut the strap off completely and not even bother with it. The wig still stays perfectly in place. Cut it off and trim off the edge all the way across. You're left with a lot smaller band to cover! So you can use thinner headbands if you want to. Tip came from "Hey Wig Sister".
I do find that I have to fix or re straighten a little if it’s bent and kept in that fold for to long. It really depends on temperature and all of that too.
I had a dark brown wig with blondish highlights. It was a little too much contrast. I just got some dark brown root spray and misted it over the highlights. Worked like a charm.
Does anybody know if you can do this with a wig with bangs without losing your bangs cuz I'm scared I've been wanting to do it and then I freak out and don't do it
What a great video. Kuddos! Two questions. Will that blonde show up more and a red wig, I hope? Also, how crunchy is crunchy? I am only gonna add bold highlights, so not a ton of them.
I have use 75% alcool and Rit dye like yours...On a synthetic wig Estetica RH12/26 RT4 I leave her 15 minutes and it does not do any change The highlights was even more shinny and same yellowish stripes than before? What did I do wrong? I would like make her more ashy highlights????
Do you have to straighten the ends with heat every time you go to wear the wig? Because it's synthetic I'd imagine it will still stay in it's place because it's basically plastic your heating up so it will take it's position and stay put? Right?
