to get wetsuit: gotta get 3000 bells, wear it, walk aaall the way to the beach, and have the patience to slowly swim slowly around specific parts of the island, and gotta walk aaall the way from the beach... 2 get pole: gotta get 5 animals 2 give 2 nook, place tent, wait (or time travel) a day, talk 2 blathers, get 5 soft wood, craft, and then you can swiftly get across any part of the river... I think pole is easier and doesn't make you loose sanity from the walking...
Also, the first 6 villagers aren't completely random, the starting ones are Sisterly and Jock, the other 3 beginner ones are Lazy, Normal, and Peppy, and the campsite villager is Smug. Edit: Apparently most people knew about the first two being Sisterly and Jock, but no one knew about the other four were.
OMG WAIT MY MIND IS BLOWN THIS IS TRUE, MY STARTER VILLAGERS ARE BILL AND DIEDRE, MY 3 ADDITIONALS ARE JEREMIAH, PATTY AND SKYE, AND MY CAMPSITE VILLAGER WAS CHADDER OMG
Ohhhh, I knew about the Sisterly and Jock thing, but not the other 4 being predetermined. Makes sense though, I ended up with Sprinkle, Zucker, Gayle, and Julian. My 2 originals were Antonio and Renee.
True that, I started off with Cherry and Tank, then Ozzie, Bea and Bella. After that I got Leopald. I thought everyone else other than the Sisterly/Uchi and Jock villagers are all at random.
You can use transparent custom designs to prevent flowers and weeds growing in places where you don't want any. Examples would be a dirt path or around a rock
I was so paranoid of the vaulting pole breaking while I’m on the other piece of land that I created 2 and realizing that they are a forever thing. I was so embarrassed. 😅
@@theygotjohnny1365 That’s a good solid thinking there. But also you should also have a DIY Workbench over there in case , if there is or if you come up with something that should be made to help you out.
“Or a veteran player who is watching this video for some unknown reason and is going to continue watching it after I finish this sentence.” Well, I feel seen. :D
@@DigitizedGalaxyAlt I already knew about the Nook Shopping , but I have forgotten about it over the course of time. But having an ABD in our Nookphones definitely will be soooooooo very very cool , but in fact it would be the coolest thing ever . I would love to have that in my Nookphone for sure , but I happen to have a whole lot of newer ideas for future updates for ACNH should get. But I would love to have you as part of my RU-vid Channel , so please do subscribe to my RU-vid Channel.
Fun fact I want bells so I can buy more things for my room but then I do that and I can’t fit them in the room anymore so I go and get a bigger room and then I can’t afford it anymore
for me, I OBSESS over expanding my home. so every time I find a nice item, I buy. If I get a present that sells for a lot, I don't sell. even IF I wont be needing n item for the next like, three new rooms.
Something that helped me out a lot (because I reset my game WAY more than I should since I got it last July) is that since the Mario items came out, you can use the warp pipes to get up the cliffs. Just place it close enough to the cliff, maybe scatter some items around it so you have no choice to get onto the cliff. You can always bounce back down since you can access the pipe even though you're on the second level. (I dunno why I did this but whatever I hope it's helpful!)
ACNH is my first ever AC game. the length of time it took me to learn you can get 8 items out of a rock. the length of time it took to get a ladder! I learned to fish from a tips video on the Nintendo News app on the switch. The glowing spot, all those small gems I learned from watching streams. in fact, my 2 friends who had played NH way before me did not know that holding the B button helps you run. My friend had 99 hours in the game before learning you could run. I laugh every time I walk around my island without using B and think to myself "this is how you were playing the game..."i enjoyed learning everything semi-organically but these tips would have been so useful.
I’m so happy! I just got a 5 star island yesterday! Yayayayayayayayayy!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have a lot of tips here, sorry if she already mentioned these in the vid: -Hold B to sprint 🏃♀️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Press B to go through speech faster 💬 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -You have to dig up flowers to replant them, don’t press Y 🌸 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -If you hold A while swimming it is faster then just moving the joystick yet less annoying then smashing the A button.🏊♂️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -You can only find Sable’s custom designs when you use a crafting bench to customize they won’t be on your nook phone.🧣 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -When you start, you cannot change, your name or your island name, however, you will be able to change your photo, when you look a bit less hehe ratchet 😆 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Easy way to find the bonus villager at your island: First, open your map on your nook phone, look to the top of the map to see if Redd’s boat is there. Second, go to your res service square and see if anyone is there. Label and Leif are some that show up there. If no one is either, you will have to look around your island to find them. However, if it’s Sunday Daisy Mae is always there on Sunday. Saharah, CJ, And flick are some that walk around. 😁 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Everyday a villager is crafting, they will be inside their house. The house will have light in the windows and smoke coming out of the chimney. Go inside and talk to your villagers and get the recipe! 🏠 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Do not use trash cans. Yes they are handy bringing around the island, but use the Nooks Cranny drop off box like a trash bin. You will earn some extra bells for trash, the more you clean up, the more bells you will have from NOT throwing away stuff. 🗑 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Check the bulletin board everyday. Isabelle will put up messages for important events such as Birthdays, or Bug offs, or Fishing Tourneys!🎂🐜🐟 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Hope this helps!) Anyways, y’all have a great day, night, and week!!! 💕
I eventually learned more stuff by figuring out by myself. And I'm like that in real life, but I get frustrated really easy... This guide was very helpful Koramoa! Keep up the good work!
I love this! Its so helpful! Maybe in the future you could talk about how different fish spawn in different parts of the river or how you can actually cliff dive with the wet suit. I didn't know this lol and I only learned it by accident 😂
Omg I have never been this early!!! I have been watching her videos almost since the beginning. I love you so much and thank you!!! And if I’m being honest, your the one that got me into animal crossing💕💕🥰
Tip: Diving is the easiest way to get a lot of bells at the beginning of the game! When I first started playing in September 2020 wetsuits were available for purchase so I bought one. Sea creatures are usually much easier to catch and also pay better than fishing and definitely more than bugs. It is just a bunch of mashing A but I usually just watched RU-vid/TV as I did it so I wouldn't be bored.
Great video that covers a lot of the basics the game doesn't tell you... I remember being tripped up by that "what would you take to a deserted island" question that I had to Google it, haha... if I could go back, I'd have picked a different layout cuz Resident Services being really close to the aiport made it hard to decorate my entrance
Me watching this amongst other topics I already know everything there is to know about just cause Koramora's videos are so enjoyable even if it's nothing new to you
I actually got the ladder earlier than I should’ve because I completed the mayday event (I think that’s what it was called) and got the DIY recipe for it there instead.
The funny part about this game is I didn't know the pole helps you get to the other sides of the island XD. I realized once I spent thousands of bells on bridges.
Played all the games and sunk 1500h into NH but still watches this bc Koramora content is awesome. Also, that question in the beginning with Timmy and Tommy is so evil. I thought it had some effect like the questions in the beginning of the other games had and I sat there so long staring at it lol
One thing you forgot, is that the first 3 plot villagers can all be obtained at once. As long as you have at least those 3nmt, you can pick them. You will only get peppy, lazy and normal villagers show up though. And only one of each. So you ask that lazy villager to move in, you won't see more lazy. I got the plots up and decorated then recruited all 3 on the same day. I wasn't too fussy since I could change them out later. They do only arrive one day at a time though. Punchy, Nana and Bonbon are the ones I got. Nana is gone now, but I can't bring myself to let the other 2 go yet.
Me after watching this vid and wanting the Nook Shopping app on my NookPhone: *Logs on to Animal Crossing and goes to purchase some stuff from Nook Shopping*
1:40 I have no idea of they fixed this but when I restarted my island last April I found out I could swim to the other lands do with the what you will ;)
I dont understand why people do a straight line of holes for the rock instead of 2 corner holes. Corner hole will lock your position more effectively than a line that can have you slide across. not to mention its 2 vs 3 holes, its faster.
Ello Kora! I was wondering if you could do a Blathers for dummies video? I have been following the _____ For Dummies series for a while, and I find myself rewatching Pumpkins and Redd for dummies so many times! And Blathers for dummies is just a request from me! P.S I love your videos, and i encourage you to keep up the great work!
Also another thing, always look for your beaches for a message in a bottle. (And if you get a coconut drink it sells for 500 rather than coconuts selling for 250, also it can become a hot item)
I never knew why I couldn’t get an villagers on the islands I visit 😅 Probably should have since I’m an older player but oh well, now I do! Thanks for all the tips! They’re helpful!
Kora did you restart your island? Cause the footage in the begging doesn’t look like the island I’ve seen in your streams and videos? Or is the other island u have?
It took me too long to figure out the catalogue feature. I didn't realize that any item you've ever picked up can be ordered again directly from your nook shopping app. I always got mad when a villager asked to take an item in my pocket that I was stoked to get...but didn't want to say 'no' to the villager. It's saved me a LOT of time and waiting for a certain item to either fall from a tree, or appear at Nook's Cranny.
@Koramora You can time skip back to holidays like bunny day you have to go to 2020 example: April 1st 2020, that will be bunny day. December 24th 2020 toy day...
i was wondering how can i have more place in inventory so thank you. and also i am glad i got random villagers because if i didn’t i wouldn’t get maddie. i love her sm
When I started my second island, I realized I could get to the other parts of the island by swimming instead of just waiting for the vaulting pole lmao
Another way for accessing the other side of your island without a pole vault: BUY. A. DIVE SUIT!!! I never see anybody talking about this, but you can buy a five suit from the nook twin that’s inside the tent(I don’t know if it’s always or if I just got lucky), and you can swim to the other side of the island. It’s a little tedious, but it’s a good way of accessing the other side when you don’t have the pile vault yet and use the chance to get some extra resources or clean up the place early
My richest island was actually one where I made a farm. On the third level I put my house, and on the left side were carrots, tomatoes and sugarcane, and the right side had a huge orchard of trees. Every week I would make about 108,000 bells from the left side alone. So fill your second level with crops if you need easy money
Everytime I watch acnh videos for beginners with like tips and tricks and all that stuff I get frustrated for not knowing the stuff....which is dumb of me, but oh well....
I think the question does change a bit, its just that the choice gives you the item, like choosing "a lamp" gave me a lantern, choosing "some food" would probably give you... well... food!
I just started my island, I got Shari and teddy as my two starters, then got TANGY skye and Nate as the rest of them. I got beardo as a campsite villager 😭 but still I got tangy so I’m happy 😂
My sister got it and didn’t play for a little bit then gave it to me and then wanted it again so she bought another copy so suprising her for her bday with a really good island
You can go to the future on animal crossing (way ahead of time if your new) and you will get the new resident service if that’s what it’s called, if you don’t want that to happen don’t time travel cause you won’t be able to change it, I tried to get rid of a villager but I couldn’t lol
Quick tip for me! (or if u already know sorry) Idk if its my island but... in july, raining and at 6:00 p.m. My island is surrounded by sharks. Soo idk if it actually work for ur island. But i hope my tip is useful!
no, it doesn't decide your airport color. when i reset my save data 5+ times trying to get a specific airport and native fruit, i always chose 'food' as the answer to the question and the airport color was always different
Another tip I wish I knew is to save your fish and bugs for the specialized visitors who come. CJ and Flick buy things at 1.5x the original cost! I would just store my week's worth until they came back and only sold them when my Nook+ missions required it.
