I just finished this lesson and can't thank you enough. I was at a point with my wire weaving where I was frustrated with moving ahead. I haven't been working with wire for several months and following this video has gotten me excited to start again. This pattern is wide open for different designs and sizes. I love your confident flow that you have in your lesson and I thank you for taking the time to do this for others that want to learn this beautiful medium in crafting.

THis is a fantastic video for me. I am just getting started with wire, and you make it look so easy. IT IS NOT EASY! My difficulty seems to be consistent wraps, which I suppose comes down to inconsistent tension. I got the first one as far as putting on the bead and it looked terrible, so I began again. The second try was better, and I got as far as the twist at the top and partway down the side with the 3/3? weave before I determined that it too looked terrible. I guess maybe I just need to practice with 3 wires to get the correct tension, then work on a piece. Thank you so VERY much for these videos. I live in a rural area, hours from any store that could possibly teach these techniques, so repeatedly watching this is my class.

I am so hurt that I had to throw my attempt to make this into the trash ! I guess because of the MS, I tend to hold the wires too tight and just made a big mess ! I tried SO hard and couldn't make it like you....I wasted alot of wire, which on my income, I'm not going to be able to replace, so I can practice.....I'm sorry, I guess I had to vent ! I thought this would be for folks just starting to wrap...maybe I'm just dumb ! It sure is pretty, and you make it look SO easy....God bless you and all those folks out there that are making this ! Pray for me........Cricket Ann Hill

Well this is more beginner weaving, not beginner wrapping. So a good solid wrapping foundation is recommended before attempting weaving. But don't give up. Mistakes are always learning opportunities!
@cricketannhill6569
@cricketannhill6569 7 лет назад
Thank you....God bless you I just want to learn SO bad ! I only have 20 ga. and 28 ga., is that enough ? I won't give up cuz giving up is NOT in my DNA, haha !! I'm sorry I got confused over weaving and wrapping...Cricket Ann Hill

Hi! Wonderful tutorial! I’m actually working on it now and Im in a bit of a panic because I ran out of wire just after the top loop where the 3 3 weave is coming down to meet the bead. Any tips on adding a wire if I run out like this? Please and thank you! ❤️

how do you keep your bass wires so aligned & next to one another? i find my wires always overlap while i’m wrapping & i have to go back n adjust them every couple seconds
@cvryder2000
@cvryder2000 6 лет назад
I have seen people say they use their weaving wire from the spool. Do you do this or just cut and add as needed? I find it hard to use the wire from the spool but my joins are pretty sad looking.

You said to start 8cm from the left and I did that but there wasn't enough wire left to complete the pendant on that side.

I got lost after 7 minutes. And twice I had to add more wire so when I bent it, there's a noticeable hole.

great work, but you went to fast for me. I guess i would have to pause on each steps.
@GoArtYourself
@GoArtYourself 7 лет назад
Unfortunately I have to skip ahead past the repetitive steps, as my computer often doesn't do well in uploading videos much longer than 15-20 minutes. Pausing as you go is usually the best way to go about it with these videos, I think.
@RosaButton
@RosaButton 7 лет назад
Very pretty but you went so fast and didn't allow for me to really see what your were doing :(
@GoArtYourself
@GoArtYourself 7 лет назад
Unfortunately, because of the nature of the pieces, I tend to skip the repetative steps to keep the videos a manageable length, otherwise my computer can't support the upload of long videos. Sadly, this may require pausing or rewinding.
@cvryder2000

Watch it several times, then stop as you work. That's what I did.
