Also, part of the Zero Waste lifestyle is to simplify the amount of belongings one owns. I do not consider myself a full on minimalist, but a minimalist lifestyle and Zero Waste do seem to go hand-in-hand. I simply use these terms as a way to make the intentions of my actions easier to communicate and I do not claim to be the perfect Zero Waster or Minimalist :)
