I was worried, you'd be slowing down on the new videos and updates! Glad to see you're still going! More!!

Lots of ideas, just lack of time. We create them as and when we get a chance.

please make a video about how wireless and CPE or mobile talks to each other , how these frequencies converts to binary data , and what is bandwidth and channel width roles in these kind of things

Conversion of frequency to binary data is difficult to explain, you will have to check some DSP books For basic introduction to how devices and networks talk, see: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SFb3UjhGcE4.html - there are 2 more signalling video you can go from that one Bandwidth, etc is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H69x7oGhtEk.html May be easier to start from here: www.3g4g.co.uk/Training/

Does FWA service use a different antenna than 4g/mobile service?
@3G4G5G

Not sure what you mean. The external antenna for a FWA will be the 4G/5G antenna. The antenna is dependent on the frequency but most antennas can handle wide range of frequencies so they can work for 4G and/or 5G.

I mean the tower station that will provide FWA signal to the household. Is this tower the same that 4g/5g mobile service uses? I live near from a cellphone tower owned by my provider. The signal is excellent but somehow they say FWA is not available in my area (maybe FWA requires another type of tower that is not available in my town)

@@juancitox77 Okay, got it. It's the same antennas, etc but there may be a limitation on the cell capacity or backhaul. FWA users are heavy data users and can quickly overwhelm a cell. Your SP will upgrade it sooner or later and then you will be able to use FWA.

Please check 3GPP 38.900 & 38.901. See: www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/archive/38_series/38.900 and www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/archive/38_series/38.901

Do you think outdoor CPE is necessary for a good 5G signal?

For FWA, yes.

So two main questions, will ISP's begin offering FWA service on a larger scale soon? As far as I know, atleast around here in my area, It's not really widely available. Also, what's the security like when using your device as a tether? Do you get the benefits of the normal LTE attached device security from the enode B as well? Or is encryption (if there is any) done only from the wifi hotspot to whatever other device is connecting to it? In other words, so the encryption "carry over" to the newly attached device that is connecting to the FWA hotspot device?

MNOs are competing with ISPs in a way by (trying to) offering FWA. In some cases MNOs are multi-play operators so it does make sense. Think of FWA mainly for areas that are poorly served by ISPs. Divide the security into 2 parts. From mobile network to CPE, the normal cellular security applies and from Wi-Fi router to other devices, normal Wi-Fi security applies. So you have a secure cellular backhaul but normal Wi-Fi security rules apply for end devices.
