thank you for this video. Night now i haven't considered since i don't change stuff often but i will change skates in the future. I do kinda wished you added more products like for specific mice (like tiger ice v2, Bt.L, corepads, etc )but this works really well.
Do donuts and dots feel nice on the ac pro neon ? I was about the get some xraypad jade as I like them on my viper mini but im getting another mouse, but idk what to choose between dots and donuts (probably dots because I want to be as fast as possible but now I wonder how the texture of the ac pro is noticeable)
They basically do the same thing but donuts are better for textured pads imo since there’s more surface area so u get more of the texture, dots are always solid tho
Hi i have the Sora V2 also. Planning to get an Artisan Zero or Tangdao SR control pad. Do you recommend the jade donuts or obsidian donuts? Thanks i love your channel
Those are Smalls. For fingertip grip with my hand measurements I would recommend Small for sure! I had mine in medium but I came across someone in my country who wanted to trade his small for a medium because it was too small for him. I miss it because I like to relaxed claw and palm but... It's ok haha i can use small too.
I absolutely despise little skates. They pick up so much texture. I definitely appreciate large skates at least as an option on mice. I find this is amplified with lighter mice. Sub 60g+ small feet you feel everything from your pad.
@@Desmutted just my personal feelings . I've tested multiple mice (sora 4k, np-01s, ec2, dav3, maya) all on artisan zero x soft, hayste otsu, gsr se gris, lgg venus pro and raiden. Dots, pad skates etc. Point is I'm not just making up something to say but you certainly don't have to agree. Just wanted to spread my experience for others
@@daygoo053 this mouse hobby is so dumb just like the audio spaces . Speed is all about friction. friction is dictated by surface , material and force . Dot skates aren't any slower or faster than full surface skates it's a piece of low or high friction material . Maybe its the way you put them on is wrong or the mouse skate materials I honestly couldn't give a fwauck fam what mice u have . The only subjective thing in this hobby is shape, weight and clicks and skates and pad preferences .
Hey, I bought an SP-004 a while ago and would like to know if you can recommend skates to pair with it. (Ideally one for static, one for tracking and one for general use) Could be a great video idea aswell.
Hmmm for both static and tracking i've been liking the Obsidian Pro Skates. But if you want to go with 2, I can recommend the Obsidian Dots for speed tracking or perhaps taking a look at Ghostglides if you have access to them ^^
@@wasabitech Thanks for the reply, I don’t want to use multiple skates I just wanted to know your top recommendation for each and test them myself. (And that’s what I’m going to do thanks again)
