I did a level kit on a new 2014 Silverado. I hate it. Went from good suspension to a stage coach. FML. Now looking at a BDS 2” lift. Won’t break the bank and seems to be a good lift. Any thoughts please let me know. Thanks

Another good one. Went from wanting a 24x14 until I saw how insanely wide my truck will be. Maybe I should get some 20 with a 35 or 37 and play this one safe. Thanks guys.

I’ve never been more lost on a lift. I have a 21 fx4 ranger and wanna go more than a level but don’t wanna start cutting stuff either lol. I do go off-road but in south Florida it’s more about sand and mud than anything else to get to our hunting/fishing spots. Tire n rim choice is even worse for these things with the crash bars. Ngl starting to miss my jeeps… they were so easy 😂

I have a 2006 Silverado 1500 that when I bought it had some sort of a leveling kit or lift on it idk what but it has shrunk in time and I want to get it back up some. Nothing extreme. I have put on almost every new part on the front upper control arms, wheel hubs and bearings, brakes, sway bar bushings, sway bar links, cv axles, pitman arm, idler arm and bracket. Now I have to replace the bushing in my torsion bar crossmember and the lower control arm bushing. I run 33x20x12.5 tires I want my truck to be back to the hight it was before just a little higher. Am I going to have to replace all the new parts I put on if I am able to get my height back ? And how do I do that? Please help!

Ive had my truck for about 4 years and its a stock 07 dodge ram 1500. Im just getting into lifts and wanted to fo a 4in leveling kit. My budget is 2000$ but i also want to do onboard air compressor, winch, and some other offroad accesories. I was looking on your website and saw a 800$ kit and a 1200 dollar kit and since i know nothing im unsure of the differences. Id liek the 800 to have more room in my budget but i dont wanna sacrafice quality because ill bee working in some rough terrain in the mountains.

Ya do all the front end stuff good or bad if you’re truck has anywhere close to 100k or over. Parts will be worn. I made the mistake of installing the lift and then 6 months later back into it to redo all the front end parts. Also figure out how big you wanna go. I wanted to go 9” on 37s but liked the look of 4” on 14wides and street tires like I have now. (Had33x14.5s) if you wanna go big just do it. I’m now dropping over another 5 grand in a new lift wheels and tires. After already spending that less than 2 years ago

When I done my first lift kit I wish I had spent the extra money on a quality kit instead of cheaping out. Then there's the wear on all ready weak parts I had no idea was weak. I spent way more on replacing parts than I would've spent on a quality lift kit. Now I know better I replace all parts that could wear out with high quality heavy duty parts. I do it all while I have the suspension apart so I don't have to do it twice.

I have an rc 3” lift for a 2002 4wd Silverado. Say I’m okay with replacing front end crap frequently, if I put in some quality shocks will I regain my ride quality?

If your truck has many miles on it you’re stupid not to replace ball joints and tie rod ends. They’re cheap parts and not much in labor since everything it torn down already. Might not be a bad idea to look at the hubs too. Everyone have a budget but with that stuff it’s pay now or pay more later. Good time to check out the CVs too

I’m new to this some so any advice helps. Simply trying to give my 4runner sr5 that Trd pro look, at most 2 inch lift. What’s the most affordable options? Not looking to go off roading just simply give it that trd pro look and not have to worry about it messing up going thru train tracks, potholes, speed bumps, etc throughout the city.

I replaced every suspension component possible when I lifted mine. I probably saved 1000-2000 in labor because of it. They had everything apart so might as well even if they arnt worn

I Absolutely agree... I've replaced lower ball joints, bearings, brakes, tie rods and upper control arms while i installed my lift. Saved over $1500-2000 in labour costs alone. Plus... wire wheeled all the surface rust and coated the components at the same time.

@@jeffrentsch4318 I don’t have the tools for wheel bearings, axle shafts, axle shaft bearings, coil springs, shocks, mount and balancer for tires, alignment machine. It’s a lot more then a wrench bro

I have lifted 4 trucks in my lifetime. Spent Thousands! Yes it looks cool but thats about it. The best advice i can give to a beginners is the same advice i got when i did my first truck. DON’T DO IT!!!

I mean if the part already has to come out to do the lift kit, I'd prefer to put in new stuff, means you can remove the old stuff by any means necessary, and the new stuff slides in like butta!
