Jon many many thanks for showing us the technic on applying the rings to our paintings.iv often wonderd how this was done and I will be applying this method to my paintings.( don’t worry I’ll give you a laugh and show you when I do lol ) must say a big thank you Jon for take ing the time and effort to show how to apply different effects to artwork. Without people like yourself....how would we all know? Speaking for myself ( now retired after a life time of self employment )you without doubt have opened up a new interest and hobby... thank you so much Dave...👍

Ok this one answers my question re: letting the planet dry once you've done the texture before you put the lid back on to cover it. It looks like that is definitely what you are doing.
Hi Aaron, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment I really appreciate it :) Glad to hear this video answered your question :) Yes, you want the paint to be dry before placing the lid stencils on, you will get better results if you let things dry first :)

Another belting tutorial JB especially as it shows how sometimes the images and tools can fight you a little and that it is not always as easy as you usually make it look. Great job mate.

Cracking work again man. The stencil one looks cleaner than the other 2. I just tried the metal scaper technique. Looks OK but ad you said it's gonna take a bit of practice.
Hi Scotty, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words and this comment and feedback, I really appreciate it :) Yes i prefer to use a stencil for the rings i think it looks better, the only down side to that is having to wait for the painting to dry but i don't mind that :) Yes it takes a bit of practice doing the rings the other ways (i still need to practice more at them two) :)
Hi Dukey, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this comment and feedback I really appreciate it :) Just keep at it the more you practice the more use too it you will get :)
Do you use gloss or matt colours and especially with the black and white. Also does clear coat come in both gloss and matt. Obviously I'm new to this channel but I will have a go at it. Oh what about coated paper or should you have a more absorbent paper like a matt.
Hi Colin, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment and feedback I really appreciate it :) Yes i wanted to do/show how to make different types in one video, so people that watch and want to learn can practice some different ways to see which works best for them :)
Hi Lyune, Thank you so much for watching, and for taking the time to leave this comment and questions, I really appreciate it :) The paper is glossy paper and around 300gsm, the fire is used to speed up the drying time of the paint (don't try it if you don't feel comfortable using it, as the painting can set on fire if you get to close) it's more of a WOW thing when doing it live in front of a crowd, The transparent paint (clear coat) is used to wet the paint back up and to add a layer of protection to the painting when it finished, hope this helps :)
