Best tools and techniques to learn how to do spray paint art

There are other amazing painters but this is literally the "All In One" video that anyone getting into this should watch. I've probably seen about 50+ tutorials and this had (what I feel) more in-depth explanations than the others combined. Definitely subscribed 👏

Loves the bounty paper towel trick with staple. I found ii great to make it little big so when you are don't and paint drys you can cut it down with scissors for fresh paper

Every other video i've ever watched always put the light effect on the light side of the planet. Putting it on the shadow side looks so much cooler and really makes the planet pop more. Such a great tutorial! 😁

So I stipped art for a long time cause i hated how long shading with a pencil took and just straight paint brushes would take. Then i tried spray paint and omg im hooked again, all the fun parts of art without the bs hours of small detail and omg i love painting with a knife.

I've been painting on old wooden windows. Having two sides to paint makes the colors really pop

Actually every technique used in watercolor, acrylic and even oil painting can be used in spray painting. Even using paper/plastic to create textures. That has been very popular amongst watercolor and acrylic painters for years. The only thing that I have never seen another form of painter use (unless they’re trying to use it as a gimmick of course 😂) is using fire with their paints. However, acrylic and watercolor painters do use blow torches for different painting techniques, so I guess that counts 😂 Liquitex brand spray paints are also a really big game changer as their brands mix with everything - paints, inks, etc. The only techniques I’d say you can’t do with spray paint that you can with other paints is mixing mediums and dry mediums - like pastels or charcoal. You can spray some in a container or what not and mix whatever you want then put it onto the canvas or paper, but it’s more tedious to do it directly on the workspace than if you were using other paint forms 😂

I just watched your paint art tutorial on RU-vid. I see you say you use Krylon paint. I am about to do a space mural in my kids room using some of these techniques you showed. for the paint can I just use from walmart Krylon Fusion all in spray paint? - do you do gloss, Matt or what? I am making planets stars etc. I plan to spray clear gloss when im done to protect it all from kid fingers etc.

Hi, your video helped me so much. I have been doing spray paint art for about a year could you tell me the best way to layer stuff on a painting. Like a moon or planet in the sky but with tree branches in front of the moon stuff like that without the colors from one thing kinda bleeding iff onto the other stuff. Does that make sense?
