You have managed to make this 56 years old danish guy understand something in the span of only 26 minutes, that I've struggled with for a long time. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us this stuff👍🙂 I really hope you will continue your lessons.
Howard, this is brilliant! That is how a video lesson should be structured with the tabs and broken down sections! I've been watching hundreds of guitar RU-vid video lessons in the last 3 years and your video is a beginner student's heaven! Now, I can keep up and follow this lesson because it has everything I need! THANK YOU and keep up the great work! Cheers from Vancouver, BC, Canada.
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart the song in this video is what I want to learn. I'm Janine from texas. Teach me this. I'll more than happy sign your monthly courses
Finally someone that can teach me the blues. I have been looking for someone for a long time. Now it makes sense to me. I greatly appreciate what you are doing. Can't wait to go to the next lesson. Thanks for what you do!
Wow! Your explanations, steps, tabs, demo and style of teaching all combine to be the best by far on this subject that I have seen, and I have seen way too many. Thank you!
Thank you, Howard, for the great breakdown slow easy tempo. It made great sense. It wasn't rushed through and discombobulating. You're a true educator! 100 crunchy little stars for you 🌟 ✨️ and thank you again for explaining the tab portion. 😄👍 watch world! I'm swinging this axe 🪓
This lesson is exactly what I needed!!! I can play and sing a lot of 70's, 80's, 90's rock. I've also spent alot of time on theory and mastery... BUT, i've spent zero time on TAB or Blues. These are two big gaps that I've been putting off. Lately, I've been in a funk... needing something new to work on. THIS IS IT!!!
Great instructor with beginning blues lesson 1 and 2 have given some great insights to how it all goes together. I'm, 82 and have not played for over 65 years. I once played the violin in school, and a little guitar on family night jam sections. Mostly cowboy cording. Thank for your lesson.
Howard you are the man! I was feeling a bit stuck at almost 3 years into my guitar trip, and I've wanted to learn to play blues guitar and today your lesson #1 was brought to me by the algorithm gods lol. Perfect timing! You managed to inspire me and got me pumped to learn blues guitar. Thx so much. You are excellent at explaining things etc and I love your emphasizing tabs and notation. Thx a bunch! Bobby C. 🤩
Love it! After 20 years decided to pick up the guitar again. I used to be ok with it, but completely got stuck in metal. Now with RU-vid there is much good new things to learn. Love this lesson, challenging for a first week after 20 years, but getting the hang of it now 😊
just started playing acoustic guitar as a hobby in my retirement, Howard your style of teaching is so very easy to understand and follow. These lessons are the best I have found so far. A big thank you from Wales, UK
Howard just watched your tutorial video blues part one and I am in the process of learning blues right from the beginning. This is the best tutorial video on RU-vid. Absolutely brilliant. You are the best ❤️🎸🎵
I’ve been playing bluegrass my whole life. This is a great introduction to a different style of guitar for me and the basics are always the best foundation. Thanks for posting, I will be following.
Thank you so much Howard for these Blues lessons. I'm a beginner and almost 73 years young. I just finished almost part 1 and am looking forward to part 2 and the rest. What a great and clear way to teach us these Blues lessons. Awesome! Regards from Bali, Indonesia.
I agree with many of the comments. Outstanding simplicity and has taken me somewhere I have been wanting to go for a long time. Nice job and thank you!
Great informative video. Ive been going through many videos on the basic blues scale and this one is the best.I'm not wrapping the whole thing right away but I m learning a little at a time and Ive progressed on this quite bit. Ive plated when I was young in my 20s through my 40s and now I'm 68 years old and its on my bucket list to relearn playing. My favorite music to play was always blues. .
I'm a pretty good chord player and can play some decent rhythm, but I have always been afraid of the blues progressions. I have no idea why. Maybe fear of learning scales? However, I had so much fun playing some of this you are showing! I actually had a blues rhythm going for a bit and I got excited! I am an older re-learner but man this was fun! Thanks for showing this so it makes sense to me!!!! Wow!
Howard, fantastic, explained to a tea, nice and slowly and very methodical, thank you very much, given me encouragement to practice more now, kinda got bored and just put the guitar down👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
We need some more added Howard over on Vinmeo please.. Bought it good while back and been waiting for Part 3 or anything after please! That would be awesome. 1 of the best teacher on the Tube and those 2 courses got me up and running into Blues/Rock so greatly appreciate it. But great to see a series on RU-vid so more people can learn from an awesome teacher🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
I swear I learned more in this one video than in months trying to learn from others. Thank you this was extremely helpful, easy to follow, and easy to pick up. Excellent lesson
Howard, this lesson on guitar is amazing! It has really helped me out. I want to ask if you could do a how to play video with the song Real Love by The Beatles.
Subscribed The way you teach is so awesome and clear. Thank you, Definitely a beginner and want to learn at the age of 70. I have an Electric and Acoustic Guitar. Wondering which one would be earlier?
I'm right with you! At 61 I've been playing for years, but I never really knew what I was doing. This is the FIRST time I've ever seen a solid lesson breakdown on youtube!
When Rick Derringer played with Edgar Winters White Trash, they only produced one live album, Roadwork. Rick played a Gibson ES-335 in a hard/blues that to this day still gives me goosebumps. Tobacco Road and Chuk Berrys Back in the USA are the tracks that I believe Rick peaked in his performance. I cannot find tabs to it, so I guess Im going to have to study the style and wait until I recognize the licks. Once again, Howard. You're the greatest. (Im still working on "the Rover", but getting there. I had to get a phaser for it. But even if its only for that song, still worth it).
