Thanks for the great video. I was looking for an alternate way to teach my Staffordshire Bull Terriers the hold command. I've done 2 sessions with your method and they are getting it and very happy. We are training for AKC obedience.
My lab pup is 5+ months old and is continually chewing on the bumper (not as a toy - she only gets it when we are working together) Any advice on how to get her to stop the chewing?
Good question Lisa. My 4 month old pup rolls all manner of things in her mouth. Bumpers, wings, sticks. She'll pick things up and keep them in her mouth, but it's a constant rolling of the object. How can we get the pup's mouth to be calm?
My dog would fetch the dummy and drop it when she gets near me or she would drop it next to me and I would have to say give and she would give it to my and I would then pet her and reward her. But, she consistently does it over and over again, and I'm trying to make sure she never drops the bird ever.
