I am glad that I am not in the live class, as the “pause” button became a close friend! The pace of the class was very quick. However, the phrases taught were very useful for travelers. I’m sure that no one using this video will miss a train or lose their way to the hotel.

I disagree the LL is really only pronounced like a J when spoken by Argentinos, Uruguayos and some Colombians. It drives my wife crazy when she hears an Argentine say Pa eh JA instead of PA El YA. In Brazil the brazilian waiters have copied the Argentine pronunciation. I even saw a menu listing the dish as paeja. There is a famous restaurant owned by one Galego and one Majorcan. One day they wrote on the daily menu the word Paelha. Dios mio.

I think you’re setting the bar pretty low. Most people are more intelligent than presented here.

Not in my experience; I would argue SOME people. Besides, this has nothing to do with intelligence, but rather knowledge. This not intended for more knowledgeable travelers, but for those who have virtually no familiarity or comfort with other languages.
