Hello, what is the difference for patient - 4 ball abutments or 4 multi abutments (ball-retained overdenture vs all-on-four)?

Hello Joyner, The difference between the two types of restoration is: Ball abutments are a restoration where the patient can remove the restoration (usually a total prosthesis) independently, e.g. for cleaning purposes or overnight, and then reinsert it himself. The restorations on the MultiPlus abutments are permanently screwed in place and can only be removed by the dentist. These provide much greater stability and can also be placed on strongly angulated (obliquely inserted) implants due to the different angulations. Were we able to help with the answer?
