Begode thermal mat issue solution for Master and Master Pro 

I'm new to the EUC world. About 30 days in. I'm riding the V11, and I'm already saving for my next level wheel. However I no mechanical skills at all, but eager to learn. I enjoy all the content you and your crew(Marty,Dawn,etc.) Put out. Between the 3 of y'all is a Ton of intelligence and experience. Which is good to have when owning these wheels.

That thermal conduction is essential, anywhere under those FET's not serviced and the heat there would rise rapidly.

Those thermal pads are not only heat conductors but also designed to be insulators. Interesting to say the least.

I need to get a lead on where to get the upgraded motor/battery/BMS for my S22 - I haven't seen it for general availability anywhere. I am going a different route on my slider "upgrades". TLDR I'm using a "tribological" material to rebuild the parts that were made of what I think was the wrong materials. Longer story: I guessed their goal was to simplify the mechanicals as well as make a slimmer profile on a wheel that was turning out to be super wide; I also have a hunch that adding a bunch more moving parts is ultimately going to lead to long term reliability and maintenance issues. Making the single part linear bearing out of better materials might just make the whole thing work as intended.

Anyone know if this will significantly improve/prevent overheating a master that is otherwise working fine. I will sometimes overheat when going up steep and slow inclines.

Will any thermal paste do or should I get ?

why don't more people talk about it? The only reason I looked it up is because I was fixing the controller recently and noticed that this begode master runs hotter than other begode master I have

i used some fancy thermal mats i have at work instead of paste.. I figured, if the expensive mats i have at work are good for multi-thousand dollar hardware, it's good enough for my Master. 😆
