@@saltybox1019yes, his incredible leg length and speed do allow him to legally move much further with fewer dribbles. However, there are times when he cheats a little and they don't call it.

Hes perfected the timing of his gather step. Combined with his length (no pause suck your mum) makes his drives not only legal but basically unguardable

Also pace your self start dribbling slow (size up) take a step back hesi behind the back but when you do the behind the back shift your body kinda the way you’re heading rather than just use your arms use your hips as well bc good defenders will read your hips so when you get better at shifting your hips you will be able to shift them the opposite direction of where your going to throw them off even more that’s why kyrie can’t be guarded

My behind the back dribble has two variations. Hella fast or I whip it so fast and far it comes back threw my legs. That's my go to move. I've dropped many people with that. Sometimes stop on a dime on it because it confuses people or do a spin off it and I'm wide open most of the time. Been doing that one since 3rd grade and going on 40 I still do it. Surprised I haven't seen a player use it unless it's my move or something, I can't be the only guy who does this Lol.

When I was young I learned to try slapping your opposite butt cheek when doing it (if doing it with your right hand you hit your left cheek and vice versa) and it helped so much cause it makes you go with your hand behind the ball and causes it to be fast and also keeps the ball really close to your hip so it doesn’t get away from you

Nah. You have to start dribbling before it is a double dribble. In fact, you don't even have to take your second hand off before you start your dribble. Just don't use both hands again until you're ready to end the dribble.

Here is the only thing wrong with this video. When has anyone seen the ref call a carry in the nba on a behind the back move. I watch constantly, and even if they call a carry at any time in the game. It's almost never on a behind the back

its not a carry, you make the move so slow, for that is a carry, but if you do the dribble normal, its legal.

I swear half the NBA doesn't know how to dribble. So many of them put their hand under the ball because they want to be AI so bad, but didn't work on the fundamentals first. The travels and carries are always so unnecessary too. There's no need to carry to do a behind the back dribble. There's no need to carry to do an in and out dribble. It's so lazy and these are the "pros."
