At 0.33, is a photo of a male lion named cam, and his mate... they ended up neutering cam because of the dangers illustrated in this video. Although it is obvious that the two love each other, they were bonded due to the greed of the “roadside zoo, where they were kept in small cages... One of the commenters asked me why they had neutered cam, and it was fortunate that I saw this video not too long afterwards, and was able to direct him to watching this video... Tigers and lions are different species and therefor cannot mate. If 2 different species mate they will either have no babies or the babies will be infertile and suffer from a lot of health problems. Ligers arent a "species". They fact that they exist is animal cruelty. Same with white tigers. They are normal tigers with abnormal mutations (mostly due to being inbred) and would never exist in the real world. Seeing all of this animal cruelty is just devastating

I never knew their was a risk and that they were being forced, ligers still are my favourite animal but I don't like what goes on behind the scenes...

1 the Asiatic lion is on the same continent as the Bengal tiger (Almost extinct because of humans) 2 Chuffing isnt a sign of distress.. if you'd like to impress upon people 2 happy cats then chuffing is the way to go 3 I Understand your ignorance on geography.. but maybe you should keep these opinions to yourself? Without human intervention ligers would infact exist..as would alot of other animals.. at this rate of human expansion "wild" land is a rare unused resource..so where would these animals go? Magic town? Without human intervention these animals would go extinct because of human intervention.. Its a Paradox.

They are cute but its so dangerous for the cub mostly having the DNA from two diffrend creatures, it can cause serious damadge to the guts or the boddy parts of the animal so They can have problems with their boddy...

I feel bad for the ligers and most especially their parents. It's like the liger is being rejected because it's unwanted and rejected. They are said that they shouldn't been born. That will be unnatural. It was said the lion and tigris are force to mate in order them to have the liger in the first place.

If your going to breed animals than breed them with their own kind not with a animal from a whole different continent. And if you are going to breed to different animals together than you could at least look after the baby they made because if you don't than you should just quit your breeders job and take a long hard look in the mirror
