He lives a stress free life and is loved daily by his caretakers. He also plays with his tiger friends. Yes his life is limited to a degree. But so is every animal in every zoo. Heck, even wild animals have limits and boundaries. A turtle in a pond. A bear in the woods. That being said, he would not even survive in the wild.
I’ve seen other videos of this specific liger he’s got a HUGE play yard, the enclosure we see him in this one, is mainly where he sleeps, where they do feeding, etc
reallly sad to see these beautiful animals in captivity just to soothe the egos of some selfish people! now, they have to be rescued and still live their lives in cages.
@@Arianeria like I said, u have a lack of knowledge on this subject. I don’t take care for him. And let me ask u a question… is your home one giant room or do u have a bedroom. This was his bedroom. The one he was in since he was a baby. His new one was being built and he has since moved into it. He also has a play yard that is much much bigger. Had u done the smallest bit of research by watching my other videos or going to their website I wouldn’t have had to type an essay. But ppl wanna be keyboard warriors and say stuff without knowledge of a subject.
@@BamSlade Why are you so defensive? You would not need to write these assays as you say if you did that in the description under the video. I was just asking thats all, and another thing you don´t know me so you should not cry about keyboard warriors. I did not see your other videos because this was the first youtube send to me to see and by your reaction i will not be seeing others. Have a good day.
I guess the natural habitat of a wild cat must be bigger than the playground. Wild animals belong to the jungle. And mating tigers with lions in an artificial setup and producing X,Y,Z etc variations is anyway distasteful.
@@james7275able that a big guard dog think if someone try to break in & that walk up & roar then u shine ur flash light at it & say what the hell & run screaming
Beautiful kitty, and thank you for all the work you're providing for these big kitties but PLEASE get them larger enclosures...at least 1 acre per big cat. The money and land is out there!!!
Thank you for recognizing all of the daily hard work that comes with homing the cats. He now has a bigger enclosure (bedroom) and a play yard. CARE runs strictly off of donations. So if you’re looking to give that money or land 🤲🤗 I’m sure they wouldn’t turn it down. 😜
You’re right. And these animals didn’t asked to be born into the life in which they were. But they have been rescued and are now being loved and cared for every day.
Wow, so much to like about this, Kuttos to these brave young women's, I couldn't do that caretakers job, I'd always be thinkin the next time would be my last time interacting with these creatures!
The video is 3 years old. He has been built a bigger/better enclosure since then. I actually had a small hand in constructing it. But he also has and has always had a much much bigger play yard that he shares with his tiger friends. Please check out my other videos to see them out in it. I might be going back soon to do an updated video on him. He just turned 6. Stay tuned and thanks for watching.
Is he constantly in that small enclosure ? I hope he has a larger area to walk around and stretch, its so rough for animals in captivity to deal with. I know he gets great care and food but yeah moving around and exercise is important for their mental state of health and obvious physical benefits.
Yes, he does have a much bigger play yard. Check out my other videos of him. Not to mention that he now has a bigger bedroom than the one in this video. The new one was being built at the time this video was made.
Don’t judge his entire life on a five minute video. There are other videos with him and his tiger friends in the play yard. So many ppl have made the same comment as you without doing any research. It is really frustrating to be judged on 5 mins of film. 😔
This "math" explanation at 0:12 is incorrect. If one parent is a lion and the other is a liger (50 lion/50 tiger), then a Liliger is 75% lion and 25% tiger, not 66%/33%.
Wow! I had no idea a “Liliger” was a thing. Heard of Ligers before. That Joe Exotic dude was just irresponsible in every aspect of life apparently. Glad these animals are being cared for and shown love properly. 👍💪💪
And I must say “wow” back to u. Your surprise, comment, and view on the matter is what I would have thought to be the majority. But it is quite the opposite. Many many many people have expressed stupidity and hatred in the comments so thank you for your positivity and intellect.
@@BamSlade yeah I seen some of them after I commented. I think some people just have a knee jerk reaction and type something before listening to the video I guess. I would think anyone would be able to see the love and affection shown to the animals tho. It’s literally on display in the video. 🤷♂️😂😂
@@MyScreenNameIsTroubledOne you and I can clearly see the love and affection. But those pessimistic ppl looking for any chance they can to spat off, they take it. I can totally agree with the knee-jerk reaction. They negatively comment before knowing all the facts. I’ll check the comments section before I type anything. Because my comment may have already been made or my question already answered. But again, thank you. It was nice to see your positive comment.
Lions and tigers don’t overlap in the wild , except in one location - India’s Gir Forest. Until now, no ligers have been found there. Typically they don’t cross the species line, and are not interested in each other. It’s been argued that crossbreeding will only occur in unique circumstances, such as when stuck in captivity and there are no other mates available of the same species. so we could let the males free in the Gir forest but then would create a problem for the pure lion species. As the Liger is considered one of the biggest cats on the planet, the Tiger mother usually requires a C-section in order to properly deliver the Liger cub as it will be larger than a normal Tiger cub. turn a male lose and it ends up breeding the lionesses instead of a lion she would die during birth and no lions would be born . some of you people are so stupid , you only see what you want and never look at the bigger picture to why these massive cats are kept by zoo's and individual licensed specialists and not set free in the wild. you can really see the decline in human intelligence in some of the comments on here.
He is very muscular for the size.. tail is extremely chunky compared to other cats. Definitely larger skeleton frame. Seems to be panting for nothing(may be hot condition) . He doesnt seems to suffer from neurological issues suffered like other hybrids.. face to body ratio is skewed like cheetah(or video framing made it look like that). But there is good chance he will suffer more health issues as he grow older
@@BamSlade nah no need to pin lol. Well people are dumb. They don't think about all sides of a problem. Caged animals have limited freedom than ordinary wild beasts. It's true. But they have less threats from the wild. For an example I've seen some people comment in a video about cheetahs, *just let them live in the wild* . Tf Cheetahs are endangered now. Bigger predators like lions, tigers and crocs specifically target this lil cutie. Coz he's so damb small when we compare him with those big boys. So he's safe among people. That means people are dumb. So don't care about everything they say.
A male lion and female tiger’s offspring is a liger. A male tiger and female lion’s offspring is a tigon. It depends on the sex of the parents not the cub
There is absolutely no way, I would risk my life to be in the presence of a wild animal. This is crazy. Some people just don’t value their life’s. My God.
@@benjamindurbin4065 no I don’t think u know what ur talking abt He has a very large heart run and pasture that his smaller cages is connected to that he and some other cats play in for hours He usually stays the nights in there, and while they r feeding He also stays in there while other big cats he doesn’t particularly like are out in the run You would easily be able to find this out if you looked at their other vids Get a fucking clue
well if u by "naturally" mean in the wild then ofc not because their habitats do not overlap. if u wonder if artificial fertilization is neccesarry then i guess its not but many breeders still might do it to increase the chances
You won’t find ligers and tiligers in the wild if a tiger and lion somehow meet in the wild they would most likely fight with each other or leave each other alone
Lol do some research and then talk smack It takes very little to look at the channel and realize he has a very big cage his smaller one is connected too
I love that little bicycle chain that is holding this 600 pound Liger in his CAGE... That heavy lady doesn't know anything about Lion Bumping , but, She was showing signs of weakness even before she got there next to him. She was sticking her hands out like they were a good treat for him. Of course, the liger will be the one that gets ridiculed about his normal behavior.
