Also, just curious, at 38:32 I can see that the older Lange 1's movement pops much more than the newer ones. What do you think explains this difference? Do you think it's a typical case of "they don't make them like they used to" :D?
@@chia-mingyang5804 what is making that very 'obvious'? Certainly, there is more value in hearing from the actual handlers of those watches i.e. the vide authors, unless of course, you are a primary source for a similar comparison?
Checked RU-vid all day in a different timezone (waiting for the release of this) and boy was it a brutal wait. But, so worth it ;_; !! Can't wait to get my first Lange (in the far, far future of course :D)
As a collector about to have his “ooof moment” and buy his first Lange. I cannot thank you enough for this video. There is not a lot of content (comparatively) on Lange and this was a god send! So thank you! However. Next time could you ask them if a person who buys a second hand watch gets treated at a boutique as a collector or are they just seen as people that walk off the street 😅
These educational videos are brilliant. It’s always great to see the history of brands rather than just hearing about case diameter and lug widths! More of these videos would be appreciated 👍
Great video and great content, as usual. At 39:11, the zero reset is one of the nicest features of the Sax-O-Mat. I can only imagine those Langematik watch prices climbing up as they don't offer this on the Lange 1.
A stunning video as always, thanks a lot for this! Some months ago I had the pleasure of (for a few minutes while buying a much cheaper watch alas) wearing a Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon and was able to admire the extreme craftmanship of the company and the immaculate finish of the watch. Truly an experience to behold!
Many thanks Mark, this was more like a full-length documentary program than a mere video! I know stuff like this probably doesn't get as many views as it deserves, but I really appreciate you putting the time and effort into it regardless!
Thanks for the comprehensive Lange episode Marc. It's so nice to see the way Lange has been evolving without losing its identity and tradition. Definitively the way to go!
