Content suggestion: a lot of buyers don’t start out with a lump sum (say, $12k) and then buy a collection from that sum. Instead they take steps from inexpensive to expensive. Would be cool to see a video where you and a guest build a watch collection in phases. 1st watch is

Lange1 moonphase is my grail watch. The day/night movement from blue to black being behind the moonphase is just genius. I don’t know of a single other brand doing that and it makes so much sense.

Great video! The symmetry of the Lange 1 comes from following the golden ratio to perfection. Very beautiful and my grail watch since 2011. But I don't agree with Kevin that you should have at least 3 watches per brand to be called a collector. One is very, very lucky if he/she can afford just one of those pieces!

Mr. Wonderful and Teddy are the perfect pairing. Just enough of a deep dive for the watch geeks while also having the banter among the two of them. I had the privilege of wearing the titanium Odysseus at the NYC boutique as well - and Mr. Wonderful is correct it is a sizzling hot model.

Odysseus is my favorite modern Lange! very easily could be an only watch collection piece. but of course, so much greatness in this brand

The Zeitwerk may be my favorite watch of all time. The complexity of the movement is mind boggling to me. I think it’s absolutely stunning and I’m completely ok with how divided people are over it.

More magic with Teddy and Kevin! For me, it was the Datograph that really pulled my heart out of my chest. Wow!

The fact that they aren't swiss demonstrates how powerfully magnificent they are. To be able to stand over and above 99.9999% of all swiss watches is a testament to their craft.

My favorite is the Richard Lange, followed by the Datograph and Zeitwerk. The RL is one of the best 3 hand watches in the market.

Maybe you should ask mr wonderful about FTX, he promoted that right?

I have been an owner of a A. Lange and Sohne Datograph up/down chronograph since earlier this year and love this brand! I want a Zeitwerk next!

I was invited to A LANGE boutique in harrods to look at the new Zeitwerk as they are having an exhibition for a week or so , It is definitely a beautiful watch that is growing on me day after day, at £88,300 it’s not cheap , after watching this video it’s making me want it more after Kevin’s comments on this piece . What ever happens A LANGE is my next big purchase watch , I dream about them every night 😂 just trying to decided on which one , datograph or zeitwerk , long term I aspire to own both as they are completely different (obviously) and maybe an A LANGE 1 would give me the 3 pieces to make me the true collector as Kevin says , FYI A LANGE are having a 10% increase in all their watches except the new zeitwerk as that already is set probably at the new price point from the 1/12/22 , if you order a watch and pay for it in full you can lock in the pre increase price they tell me

As a fellow collector I really appreciate Kevin’s perspective on how a timepiece adds to the story of a collection. Something I have not considered until now which changes things as I intend to leave my pieces to my boys as a reminder of their dad when I’m gone.

I don't always agree with Kevin's choices in watches, but I must say his favored one here is truly extraordinary. In fact, several of them here are absolutely stunning. I love the watch Teddy highlights as being a cornerstone of the brand. To my mind, the company surpasses even Patek in some ways.

Lange is under appreciated, maybe due to very small production numbers (which is good) or maybe limited grey market hype (which is good too). Just way too little content around such good watches as compared to some crown panda watche
