@@xxliew Yes! In my opinion, I like In The Heights better than Hamilton, I love Hamilton, but the Fandom just ruined it for me, plus, to me ITH has more creative liberty since it’s just a story
@@xxliew It has more relatable and lovable characters/ stories, while Hamilton is based on founding fathers, some being slave owners etc, etc. Their lives only became interesting because of Lin's music and the emotion he put himself. And most of the whole thing is Hamilton whining about his legacy, while it is relatable to want to leave a good legacy, he was so selfish. Usnavi is the real mvp
Yonis Aweel it is possible to see it. You just have to be patient and go to the cancellation line. I did that when I was in NY a month ago and was able to see it😍
Washington: Son, I need you alive, Hamilton: cAlL mE sOn OnE mOrE tImE!! Washington: Hey, little homie don't get so upset! Hamilton: ....my boi Benny, wrong play.
Yeah, I don't think Chris knew Lin had knocked the chair over...he's mumbling something about "what the hell was that" and Lin's just smiling at him... There's another scene where they're all singing, it's fantastic, and through the glass of the booths, Chris and Lin smile at each other. They're both enjoying it so much. I love their bromance!
letsHugElefanten sometimes he's lazy, I suppose. When talking about Lin to my friends sometimes it's his full name, just 'Lin Miranda' or simply 'Lin'. Other people call him Lin Miranda as well.
It can't be just me who thinks Chris sounds exactly like Anthony Ramos. Like the first time I listened to the opening song I assumed benny was played by anthony
I UNDERSTAND I saw her before I really knew plus it was like negative degrees outside and raining (like three weeks ago haha) andn so no one stagedoored and now im like WAIT I WAS SO CLOSE TO HER AHHHHH
I would love to see Robin de Jesus in Hamilton..Laurens/Philip? Of course this is all assuming i'd be able to get tickets some day..i'm willing to wait for it :)
He is the closest thing to Anthony Ramos I've seen so far, as far as other Broadway actors go. I think he'd make a great John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Have you seen the videos where Ant played Sonny? They're great.
This has the same vibe as non-stop because it has that same part where it shows off the different vocals of the cast in a "ramble-y" everybody's singing their own thing but singing so beautifully and coherently to make the beautiful melody.
Heyyyyy in 4th grade I perform this 😂😂😂 I didn't even know what I was dancing and I didn't even understand rap 😏😏 came back to this song for memories 😊😊😊😊🤑😁
yeah, they probably wanted a few different options for the recording- between the Neumann and the Shure, they have pretty different sounds. Probably used the Neumann for the singing, and the Shure for the speaking/rapping parts.
I'm still obsessed with this musical like I've spent a lot of my quarantine visiting Lin's work. I still love it even 9 years later. It's almost a decade y'all
I LOVE this song because it's just so satisfying to hear. Everyone sounds so good in their roles and their solos fit their voices so well. And that 5+ voice overlay at the end 😩 💗
This is why George Washington resigned Hamilton went in the middle of a very important meeting and kicked over a chair George was very much done and lefted the hamilton 4ever
How can anyone dislike this? Look at these original personalities being exactly the same even now, after all these years. Lin, Chris, Robin, Karen Jesus. Pure talent.
