Barça Women emphatically won their first ever encounter at their new home, the Johan Cruyff Stadium. The Blaugrana started the competition with an excellent win against CD Tacón (9-1). Alexia opened the scoring in a match where everything went right, and Jenni Hermoso was able to complete an opening day hat-trick.

Jenni Hermoso's 2nd goal starting at 74:36 epitomised what Barca is about and why we love this club. A 10 pass buildup play from the back that ended in a simple tap in for Jenni - an ideal team goal. The reason we call it the beautiful game.
