@@Bravice I imagine at this point, he's cool with them. The amoun of yelling and banging (IT'S FUCKING MARIO KART AGAIN) that happens on a regular basis for years now must mean that if the neighbors don't get it, at least his landlord does.
10:55 "I'm probably gonna eat like, a pizza or something...I've earned it." Damn right you did, Scott. You and the guys put together some amazing work! The tiredness in your voice alone proves that; it's weird hearing you sound so mellow compared to a usual episode.
This dude literally put his heart and soul into this episode, not to mention the rest of the Scott the Woz videos. His content is just so fresh, and I don’t remember how I discovered him, but damn I’m glad I did.
Imagine while they were making Borderline Forever a friend came over to Scott's apartment and saw a spaceship with a throne in the middle made out of Wii games
it never occurred to me that he really screamed Brett Favre on the top of his lungs in his apartment. I really wonder how his neighbors have never complained about the noise lol
Scott's apartment in this video looks like the aftermath of a Gex Night, this is some insane dedication for Borderline Forever, and I think it really paid off 9:35 This scene of Scott walking through the ruins of his apartment and past a few "corpses" is really fun to me 10:29 Live footage of what the school chaperone does to anyone that talks about activities that have the letters "S", "E", and "X" in them
Wait a minute, what does the school chaperone have to hide with examinations? Oh no, are they gonna ask me what's the total amount of coins needed to build the giant robot in Chibi Robo Zip-Lash? SHIT! I haven't studied that chapter yet, fuck.
Imagine being the worker at Home Depot seeing a guy walk out with several plywood boards. Pretty standard purchase, probably just for a simple woodworking project right? Nope, not even close.
I was terrified when I saw that this was only 11 minutes long but then I realised that this is only the behind the scenes, we've still got 2 hours of bloopers to look forward to.
@@timelymirror7826 Not at all. It's the most 'Scott the Woz' thing imaginable given his Wiiware chronicles and shovelware series, 'love of Nintendo' theme etc etc
In the 3 hour video where his mixer talks about the making of the song 'Closing In', he says it was being workshopped for 2 years. So yes, quite a bit more work than most think.
Staples employee at the print counter: “huh, okay so what’re ya printing again that you need the size of a whole wall?” Scott: “hm, uh.. that certainly *is* a question”
The amount of effort Scott puts into his videos really is unparalleled. It's really incredible how much he'll do for a gag about a blue square. Amazing work as ever Scott!
That could not be any more "dudes in their early 20s" lol. My friend group and I all eat healthy but whenever we spend time together, it's all unhealthy food, all the time.
9:00 can you even IMAGINE breaking into someone's garage and finding it wallpapered floor to ceiling with Wii game spines? And there's a giant chair made out of Wii Games in the center?
Sometimes I wonder why a studio hasn’t asked Scott to make a film, and then I remember that there’s no more legitimacy in that than in what he’s already doing. His DIY work ethic is unmatched, and I think a “professional studio” would only water him down. He’s making legitimate art with these videos. He’s an inspiration.
The amount of dedication and sheer effort from Scott just tells me that he *really* loves doing this. And all the problems that he has to put down just he can say to us “Hey all! Scott here…”.
I swear scott's too damn committed with giving us enjoyable content. like I'm sure he could've green screened all of those wii game prints, but he didn't and then spent time ironing them, and the wii game throne
>puts a lot of effort in his set >not a sellout >doesnt rely on the run-of-the-mill reaction videos Scott deserves all the likes and views he gets from his videos
It's seriously impressive on how much effort you put into border line forever (one of my favorite videos in general watched like 20 times 😅) again you did a great job on it and seeing how much effort was put into it made just as much better
Hey Scott! Just FYI, when you're shooting a scene with multiple cameras in one or fewer takes, instead of fewer cameras in more takes, that can be called "cross-coverage". Thought you might like to know :) Love the behind-the-scenes videos, keep it up!
The effort you went through, a video that's the length of a TV movie, the cameos, all the youtubers you asked to be a part of it. Even the set design looks like it took several weeks to get down. You didn't need to do all that, but we appreciate the work it took to do so.
I’m excited to see the Behind The Scenes for Borderline Forever, it was such a massive production that seeing how all of it was made will be really interesting!
Seeing a Notification for this on my phone was the highlight of my day. :) I know he puts so much into his videos, making sure every detail is just right, but seeing stuff like this makes me appreciate it even more. Love the behind-the-scenes footage. I hope we get a Blooper video soon. :)
I love so much how the vast majority of Scott's videos are just in his apartment No fancy set, no studio, no professional setup, just a couple guys with Wii Games and a camera.
Usually people would build sets in rented out storage units or garages, studios if they're big enough, but Scott just goes "Yeah I guess I'll build a Wii case space ship set in my 2br apartment." and I dunno if that's maniac or boss.
Just finished Borderline Forever a few hours ago... I literally searched for this video today before it was uploaded and I felt disappointed that it didn't exist... Holy shit... The timing ... Thanks Scott!
So, some inside info on my favorite Scott episode, which I have been wanting since it premiered. I just wanna say, today's my birthday, and though it wasn't your intention, I'm still viewing it as your gift to me. Thanks a lot, Scott. Keep up the great work!
