"Scott's Stash" is the companion channel to "Scott The Woz". While that channel houses the "Scott The Woz" series, "Scott's Stash" is focused on unscripted content. New videos are uploaded 1-3 times a week.
This channel also serves as an archive of older projects I've done, though be warned, I do not promise quality.

STL Ocarina has said a few times that a majority of their sales come from zelda fans, I've even ordered from them myself. It makes me smile to see that ad, and it definitely makes sense its there. I was so heartbroken when my ocarina broke during a move, maybe I'll grab another one, inspired by seeing that ad 😂
I actually enjoyed playing U Deluxe when it first came out since I never had a Wii U, but then I got Wonder. Played through Wonder, wanted more Mario platforming, popped U Deluxe back into my Switch and that lasted about 5 minutes before I put it away again
"Does this ruin the resale value to scribble out your address?" for video recording or listing purposes, some masking tape could be used for censoring the address. for resale purposes, I have no idea how to achieve that permanently without scribbling it using permanent marker other than moving away from that address.
It's a great second switch. And it's 100$ cheaper so that alone makes it worthwhile. I really enjoy my Lite and playing handheld on the OG switch (i don't have OLED) feels too large for chilling and playing in the evening
As someone who did the DigiPen Project Fun program almost every summer, (as well as being accepted into the college this coming fall) I can confirm it was pretty cool. I started doing it well past the point where they offered the Nintendo of America Tours, but it was a very fun program. They taught you basics of game development from a variety of different angles, like programming, art, etc. Also, almost all the counselors working there were Digipen students themselves, so you were able to learn and talk to people who were also learning stuff like this.
I subscribed to the Fun Club unbeknownst to me that it was at the tail end of it's life. They sent me the final issue of the newsletter then rolled me right into the the first issue of Nintendo Power and I stayed subscribed for many years. That's how I got a free copy of Dragon Warrior, lot's of strategy guides, and I won Mario Kart 64 in a contest.
Never read Nintendo Power as I'm from England but recently found my first issues of Total! And Super Play, they were my go to magazines back in the 90s
The worst part about that first World of Light cutscene is that I'm convinced it's 100% the reason why they gave Marth an English voice. They would've kept Marth as the cool obscure Japanese character for forever, but since he has ONE LINE in the cutscene, they HAVE to dub him. And the line was so STUPID! "We'll each need to take down at least ten." Like, what??? What kind of a stupid line is that? Fox, Zelda, and Pit are being righteous and inspiring but you got Marth over here like "yeah guys let's beat them up. only ten tho." man f*uck you you don't need to say that.
A few years back I preordered Bloodstained ritual of the night and Kill La Kill IF off of Amazon cause they were the first ones to put up preorders for those games, Amazon didn’t ship me the games for at least 2 whole months after launch… I never bought a game from Amazon ever again
Long ago, and it may be on me / listed in the ad, I bought Pokémon White and Black from there, both are PAL region -_- I store many games sealed away and did not notice until last year, oh well.
Xbox controllers are basically always on sale somewhere, usually around 50 bucks. Would have been nice to have a gyroscope though, especially since its basically the defacto controller for anything you do on pc.
30:37 I myself am a Rabbids fan and you probably would've enjoyed Rabbids Go Home since it's not a minigame compilation and it tries to do something fun and creative with the Rabbids (it also surprisingly has a lot of dark humor and adult jokes, even including some mild swearing. The previous games had that, but not to the extent that Rabbids Go Home had).
Well the magazine didn't have the same punch as it did pre-Internet, so a lot more people just seem to have more memories of the early years. But yeah the magazine stuck around for a while, the final issue coincided with the Wii U launch in 2012.
I always have a soft spot for this era of Nintendo Power. This is where I got most of gaming related news back in the day and they got me to try out games that I have never thought of playing before like Punch Out, Okami, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Scribblenauts.
Dude I HATE Amazon so much. And I wholeheartedly agree with the whole SD cards debacle. Buying SD cards is like navigating through a minefield. You never know if its a bootleg or not. Also fun fact: The SD cards may say 1 TB on them, but they're actually not. You know the thing in cartoons where 3 kids stack on top of each other and wear a trench coat to pretend like they're adults? That's what these do. They're actually usually like 4 GB SD cards, that show up as 1 TB (or whatever size you got) on your computer, but once they exceed their actual capacity, I believe they actually start overwriting themselves and thus making the files that were overwritten corrupt. They might show up as open-able files, but they're not readable. Never buy SD cards (or any other form of storage for that matter) on Amazon.
I have the same magazine, got it from a local video game store recently. What's sold me on this issue was the Zelda interview. It's nice to see that there was clearly a passion that would later be brought into OOT 3D.
scott: hmmm what stupid topic do i wanna talk about today...... scott can talk about video game title screens and we'd all watch it with our pants down
I only started collecting them since like 2022 and before that I never saw one. I recommend searching local game stores and also eBay to get started because they are so fascinating.
I see thats a common occurrence with games you have tp really read the entire dang page and look at reviews so theres no issues. As for the sd cards its always 50/50 chance on there or ebay. Luckily so far have had no issues with the ones i bought but can never be too vigilante
