Yup, agreed. Nina knows how to make everyone around her feel comfortable and natural. That's a good skill to have in life and that's partially why her videos are so engaging. She could easily host a show on TV with her channel content. She could be on The Food Network.
I agree about the relaxedness, but there's more to it than that. There's two sides that interest me: what are the social/business skills to make this thing work, and what are the technical skills to make this thing work. I think it's super interesting that we got more of the technical side out of Paul in 4 minutes of a "chef" channel that we do in literally any MYLoon video I've seen. Those questions were 🔥. Not that I mind hearing what slightly-awkward-Paul has to say on the MYLoon channel, that side is interesting too!
It is great to see that Loon embraces Nina's channel. That is significantly different from earlier in Nina's career. The integration between Nina's kitchen and the other parts of Loon make it really interesting to watch.
@@davep5788thanks Dave The owners of Loon can see the impact social media has. On RU-vid @thecrewchef has more subscribers than Loon (for now?). So all views that this channel generates also promote Loon.
So glad you are back! I think your content with Loon is going to be a big help to them getting more comfortable with making content and talking on camera!
Great video all the way around. Loved the interview with Captain Paul. I am also subscribed to Motor Yacht Loon's channel. Between their channel and yours, I am set!
Have never seen "cleaning out the fridge" at your level. Could almost smell the onions n sauces cooking. Beautiful "Boat" n crew, the most personal able I have seen but thinkin you bring out the best in them. Especially love your mastery of bread n dough making, totally riveted. B well until we see you again.
Great video, some of sail yachts with two gas burners and a small ice box. We do have the benefit of walking 10 meters to the taverna on a small Greek Island. Keep up the good work.👍
As your friends Rico and Victoria {Nauti Guys) say , a very “proper” video! Great footage, and it appears that you’ve quickly become an integral part of the team. Cheers!
Great interview with the captain and your questions were very in-depth and informative. One of you best videos. You are special. God bless and smooth sailing. 🐻🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Have has so much fun following the adventures and the crew of Loon. Fabulous videos!! Terrific editing & such a great glimpse into all that happens in the galley. REALLY, really enjoy the crew interviews! Great work!!
yeeeeeees chef - i noticed you have a really nice little tomato knife there.... wish I had one as sharp as that. Your interview with Paul was epic 😂 he handled that quick fire round like the pro he is! Id' also have to agree on Rule 5 being my favourite tho, gotta keep a SHARP lookout eh! Stoked on the vid, good work ya goose
A famous novel begins: "Ships at a distance has every man's wish on board." And as the author also hints, while some dreams come in with the tide and come true, some keep sailing until time runs out. Nina, your videos touch both my love of cooking and the vicarious thrill I harbor of the unknown and sailing off into the sunset. Stay out of the storms.
Yeay, she is back! I like to see the whole process of getting and moving supplies. The best so far in all your clips was when you went across the Atlantic at you were in the galley and one could see the Atlantic ocean outside through the window. Love the fresh feeling of all the steel in the kitchen, like a little lab. And the views of the other cutie pies aboard is nice. More! Keep up the great work!
Your food presentations are inspiring me to do things a tad more swanky at home. Fun to watch but you do make some mighty tasks look easy. It’s all the upbeat personalities 😊
Really LIKE that you show as much as you can behind the scenes, it gives us somuch joy to see you cook, see you with your ship mates. Well done, Nina! Congrats on the head chef position! Shout out to everyone aboard the Loon!
So… I started to watch motor yacht Loon videos and thought I would not watch the crew chef as much. Well… not! I enjoy both immensely. This video was great in not being redundant with motor yacht loom and bringing awesome kitchen insights. The drone shots are a big plus now. Anyway, congratulations on your awesome channel, you still have way more followers :). Great collab!
Chef Nina back in the groove! Love the star wars princess lea hair duo! LOL! ? more cooking on location videos like the Australia ones in the future. ?? just thought they were awesome! Cheers from the States!
Never even thought about how you would have use up food from a charter before another. This was great to see! Love seeing you back behind and in front of a camera…and on Motor Yacht Loon!
Another great video Nina! Love the atmosphere onboard Loon! Loon looks so much newer than 2011 really interesting listening to all the figures about Loon! Impressed Paul was able to pull all those figures off the top of his head! The food looks amazing:-)! Now I'm hungry again!
What a great video thank you. Love butafacio. With a gorgeous place. Your smile is endearing as always. Keep up good work. I look forward to next time.
I can only imagine how hard these guys and gals work, and seem to keep a smile on their face. I was US Infantry a long time and Sense of Humor was a Leadership Trait in the 80s. I know its all filmed and all, but I sense there people are the real deal and my respect.
Love the videos! I am hoping that one day you will post your pizza dough recipe. Great Q&A with the captain. As an American I will say this, I have learned more of the metric system since Covid started and I got hooked on these videos, than I ever did when I was getting taught it in school a long time ago!
I always learn some new cooking skill or technique from you! Thank you. And yes!!! Pickle juice in the coleslaw rocks! That is how I make mine. I am in high anticipation of your next video!
Welcome back Chef Nina! Like Capt Paul said I thought this was to be a cooking channel? My answer to that would have been it is as you put him on the hot burner with questions like who's you favorite crew member. ( You know it's you chef as you are the one whom feeds him !!) I really enjoy your video's they're humorous and yes educational believe it or not? Anyways Nina stay safe enjoy Croatia as my wife and I will be there in mid September for tour. See you next video
Even if you don't show allot of cooking during charter, it would be nice to see some short segments on what you are actually serving the guests. Please keep the content coming.
