Oliver and Lucas love to visit the aquarium and learn about fish and marine animals!
In this week’s episode they will explore Melbourne’s Sea Life Aquarium in a glass bottom boat to see all the beautiful Marine animals.
This won’t be an ordinary visit to the aquarium, as Olive and Lucas will explore behind the scenes to learn how an aquarium is maintained.
They ride in a glass bottom boat above the 2.2 million litre oceanarium that will give them a chance to see the huge smooth stingrays and experience the rarely seen back of house and staff-only areas.
Visiting an aquarium is so much fun as it gives you a chance to be face-to-face with sharks, stingrays and thousands of fish.
Here is an interesting fact, did you know that fish were here on earth before dinosaurs!
In their visit to the aquarium they see aquarists scuba diving in the water and learn that they are responsible for caring for the aquatic animals and keeping them healthy. They feed, maintain and clean the aquarium so that the sea life can live in an environment similar to their natural habitat.
