You forgot to add in the part where you call Ed Ju and we talk for an hour for moral support/guidance/howtogetbuff/whenisournextournament. Other than that, pretty decent video

What a great video Chris. Who knew the amount of effort it took to create and deliver the content? Wow! As an aside, watching your court work at the net when you instigate and counter, you look more like a 5 to pro now. Congrats!

The Gamma Airbender dimpled edge guard is designed to cut thru the air quicker, similar to a golf ball. The tv series Myth Busters did an episode adding actual clay with molded dimples to the complete body of a car and testing wind resistance and Mythbusters got an 11% increase in fuel efficiency. So very interesting design by Gamma.

This was very interesting. I’m sure the extra filming and editing added a lot more work to your normal work week, but it was appreciated and enjoyed. Doing this format, say every other month, would be nice. Sometimes it’s good to mix things up.

Just a comment, when you cut the paddles , cut right down the middle all the way through the handle so we can see the handle construction. Otherwise great stuff Chris!!!

Great format. You may be a 2.5 Boss, a 4.5 player but a 6.0+ podder. LOL. Fan of cut away inspections. How easy/hard it is to "peel" the face off the core can be insight to delam issues I think. Hope you get a chance to review the Honolulu Pickleball Company Kevlar. Also the MARK Kinetic. Keep up your dedicated work for us.

How does a reciprocating saw affect the face and core vs a thin blade table saw or better a band saw that one moves the teeth in one direction? Fun video.

That PKOLL Spoon paddle looked incredibly small when you overlayed it on the standard shape paddle. Consider that if you do this same comparison using a super widebody paddle and a relatively narrow elongated paddle overlayed on it, the additional width of the widebody is only discernable as a sliver of face but mostly edge guard. That difference, which we know from experience makes a big difference in hands battles, seems negligible compared to the multiple hectares of extra face real estate we saw on the standard shape paddle with the PKOLL spoon overlayed. Is that surface area compensated for by increased agility, or is that thing a death sentence at the kitchen?

Fun fact. Zorbicon is an old trademarked name from gamma’s tennis shockbusters invented in the 90s. They didn’t come up with that name recently, I promise. It is the same technology though

Before you chop them all in half, maybe you could hook a homie up so I can get rid of this Amazon paddle 😅 I’ll trade so you can chop it in half 😂 But seriously cool video format. Loved seeing this perspective.

If you're going to use a reciprocating saw, you should get the finest teeth you can find (usually hacksaw style for cutting metal) to make cleaner cuts. Better yet get a scroll saw. Also, when you encounter weird handle guts I'd like to see what they look like with the grip off; how are those things attached to the head? =]

Hey, I use the same Caldigit Dock. have you ever had any issues with yours? I've had some issues appear whenever I have too many things connected sometimes 1 IO port will not pick up, probably because I don't have any channels of PCIE, but i've never dug into it.
@PickleballStudio
@PickleballStudio 6 месяцев назад
I’ve had that once or twice. My dock is basically maxed out on every port except the front ones. I’ve noticed if I add more hungry devices to the front, sometimes things will disconnect. But not shocking when the dock is powering two thunderbolt RAIDs, a monitor, an audio interface, keyboard, and then the random NVME drives I use for the front Thunderbolt ports.
