I realized the other day while having a Harry Potter marathon that the prisoner of Azkaban is the only book/movie where it has next to nothing to do with Voldemort.
I noticed that too before. That's part of the reason I love it so much. It was a nice break in the overarching story and still manage to be compelling.
I think we all agree that this is the film when we fell in love with Dan Radcliffe, you see HP1 and HP2 and he is just a beautiful kid, and then, you look this one with that perfectly messy hair and you fall in love! Really, He's always been handsome, but I love him on this one, is his best time!
One thing I really like about this feautrette, is when Chris Columbus says how proud he was of their performances by the time they reached this film. Cause you know, he took them under his wing for 2 films in a row, and then he put them under the care and guidance of a new director that stepped into the equation.
On 6th October 2003, the scene was filmed in the Great Hall where Albus Dumbledore gave his speech to all students and teachers. It was on the 1st September 1993, the day of Harry's 3rd year at Hogwarts.
Prisoner of Azkaban made me a HarryxHermione(Harmony) shipper even though I know that they would end up with the Weasleys.. I think it's the chemistry I saw with Dan and Emma. I don't know. But I can't deny they look cute together
Is it only me or do all the characters have the perfect hair and look ridiculously hot in this one , I am not gonna lie but I love Dan in this one the most
The saddest thing about being born before the filming for the sixth Harry Potter movie(late 2008) is that that you don't really recognize any of the actors. The only actor/actress I knew when I first started watching the movies was Emma, but that's only because of the live action version of Beauty and the Beast. Also, even more sad and disappointing for me is the fact that I never really knew any of the famous actors and actresses back then in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century that performed in the HP movies, such as Maggie Smith and Gary Oldman, so I was never able to fully appreciate the amazing acting they did in their roles because I'd never seen them act before. It wasn't until my third or fourth year at Hogwarts(7th/8th grade for the muggles) that I finally was able to appreciate the actors and actresses that were in the Harry Potter movies' performances, and I even got to watch the Secret Garden where Maggie Smith plays Mr. Craven's housekeeper(can't remember her name).
I realized just now Alfonso could play Karkaroff. He’s similar to the actor in the Goblet. There’s an accent as well though It does not quite sound as a Slavic one
i loved when emma ties her hair in a low messy bun.. it looked really good :) cant get over how perfect everyone looked in this movie! and where is the beginning bit when everyone is dancing from? is there a full video?
