Since this is in LA, seems they should move it to Mexico where they can buy or rent a building with windows and make it nicer but also be close to the US where transportation will be cheap. The pay would go much farther relative to the location. It's puzzling why any clothing manufacturer is in LA when Mexico is so close buy and costs can be kept down but also help the local community. Seems many entrepreneurs are really missing out on moving much of this LA production. Not only, but it could become a mecca for related industries and manufacturing and trade shows.

Just out of curiosity, if they followed your reasoning and moved production to Mexico, what would you suggest the people working in this facility do? Move to Mexico? And, why stop there - why not make robots that can do all the work and just take everybody's job away from them no matter where they live? 👍

If such business owners believe they can't turn a profit using legal workers, then they need to move their businesses to where they feel they can pay a fair wage for the location and also turn a profit. Doing anything else is like going back in time to an America that existed 100 years ago. I won't vote for it.
