Totally agree.. the point of education is to increase your chances of opening doors to a big life, if a door opens that you want .. RUN through it, education will always be there if you need it and that door could take you anywhere and everywhere.. I just had this conversation with my son and gave the same advice.. Love this for Will!

Your teams attention to detail is amazing. Its the tiny things that make your videos relatable - "you literally looking up the speling for restaurant." You may not know this but it reminds the viewer of your human nature which makes the viewer feel connected.
As a Micronesian, I recently started watching your videos, and it's been an eye-opening experience for me. I used to believe I knew so much, but now I realize how mistaken I was. Your behind-the-scenes video has given me a refreshing perspective on how you carefully choose the guests for your podcast, and your clear and unwavering intentions are truly inspiring. As someone who is slowly learning about the world, I have found immense value in your videos. They make me believe that I, too, can achieve my dreams, even though I come from a place that is barely visible on the map. You have shown me a glimpse of what's behind the curtain, a place that a Pacific Islander woman like myself rarely gets to see. Love this chat about your Life Buckets! have 3 daughters, early 20's - intelligent and lovely humans doing their best to navigate growing up well in what feels like an increasingly hostile environment - life right? just cos it's difficult doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong. The advice here with filling your first 2 buckets is invaluable and fabulous ... fabulously invaluable! and have shared with my girls and they are sharing with their friends. I love that they know this now. cos it will inform their decision making processes for themselves and they will make clever and braver decisions for themselves with this guideline - and I feel supported as a parent and excited for them. The little asides like 5:46 are actually genius. The progress bar at the bottom removes so much friction for the audience, is backed by so much behavioural research and just shows how seriously this show is being taken.
It’s a super nerdy trick, to share and pass the lessons on. They ‘go in’ past the filters because we were enjoying the STORY!! And the story teller has shown he is credible by the material and history wrapped around it.
Possibly one of the most interesting vlogs I’ve seen recently and the editing is just the icing on the cake! So engaging and kudos to Will - you don’t need university - drive, passion and an invaluable network gets you a long way! Keep ‘em coming…

Steven, each video has allowed me to understand that I truly am not as aware as I believed I once was. It seems a pattern now that every week I am humbled by your content. You have allowed me to learn during sleepless nights, ensuring I am more prepared for the moment I awaken. Such a lovely comment. So many of Steven’s guests have impacted me in one way or another. The gracious manner in which he conducts these interviews…never rushing or interrupting his guests, shows so much character. I’m so grateful for stumbling onto one of his episodes. Steven was not as well known here in the States as he is in the UK, but that is quickly changing! I know I’ve shared his podcasts with friends and family, and I’m certain they have too. To be honest, it was nice to see behind the scenes and it was exactly as expected, very much like anyone else working to succeed. Need to spend more time living mine than watch others. Q. Why would you say you like being bothered, even if you do. Your life is so so busy and yes it's nice to meet and speak to people but the amount of people that want to speak to me and tell me something about themselves or ask me for advice will not have any time impact on my day, whereas your whole day could easily be consumed walking from A to B. TY for the insight
Will has definitely made the right decision. He”ll get the skills, knowledge, connections, and experience he’s seeking with real on the job training. That’s better than University, and it costs less

I started watching Diary of a CEO when you interviewed Mo. I have been watching every day ever since. I appreciate the knowledge you are helping spread to us all. I have one small request. Please have a box of tissues on the table for your guests. I have found myself just wishing I could reach through my TV and hand some of your guests' tissues whenever they cry. Steven, I absolutely ❤ you. I started a magazine about guinea pigs 12 years ago and it remains the only Guinea Pig Magazine in the world. The thing is, AI can now read all my writing and mimic my style of writing so that I’m no longer needed. And it can also read my expert’s input, and copy all my contributors, and write an article, in their style on any given topic. We’ve tested it. …. That is seriously scary shit! Proud to be subscribed

This was such a good idea and I can’t wait to see more. Constructive feedback: it was way too busy, frantic and over-produced by somebody very keen to show off their clearly amazing video editing skills. Which made for a technically impressive video, but I’m not sure I actually got to see enough raw BTS in the 12 minutes. Can’t wait for the rest of the series, thank you!
This is great seeing what goes on behind the scenes. Would love to see you occasionally do an interview with an unsung hero, ie someone who has overcome the odds to do something for society, not a celeb, but just an ordinary member of the public. I think it would be hugely interesting as no one else is doing that and celeb interviews are everywhere.
Truly inspiring to be honest. Absolutely love how every time I watch every single video you upload Steven (on DOAC)… I get this overwhelming sense of motivation and sort of drive to push myself even further. Not sort of to become "successful" but just not to stay stagnant if that makes sense. You're a blessing, keep on doing what you are doing, you are the best that has come out of the 21st century to date! In terms of feedback: I would say more about why you push yourself so much so often, what is it that makes you tick, do you have any regrets or insecurities while making all of this? What would you say to the viewer that would help him. Perhaps even more about the little mistakes everyone does behind the scenes and how they deal with these mistakes. How can we learn from those whom work behind the scenes?
I was thinking about watching the vid about dangers of AI and now I definitely have to watch it as I have a website, social media accounts etc. Thee idea some machine could mimic 'my voice is my password' is scary as hell.

Definitely a great decision on wills part! I'm 36 and I would have dropped everything to do it myself haha! It seems like in the first 5 minutes of this video I'm getting more positive self-help and generalized practical useful advice about life than I have in years of trying to find it elsewhere... And this isn't exactly the place I expected to find it. I'm definitely tuning in for all of this, I'm a huge fan Steven. Oh no! The episode is over already!?! Loved it, I mean truly loved it. Checking in from Oldham County, KY…I’m a transplant from New England! After recuperating from the culture shock, I find this area of the United States absolutely perfect for me. After growing up, and living my first 30 years of life less than a 45 minute drive from Manhattan, I needed to slow it down a bit. Best decision ever! So grateful Steven, this very unselfish dive into your personal life will undoubtedly be a hit, and your viewers/followers/stalkers, just kidding, will be salivating waiting for the next episode. ❤
Change happens when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of making the change. Another one - on being able to come back to studying/work and investing in passion… Some real inspiration in midst of C-PTSD recovery. Feel your energy and love. I’m just going to comment my thoughts as I watch the video because I end up forgetting how I feel in the moment if I wait til it’s done. I’m currently at 2:08 where we meet Will. Choosing to postpone or never go to university shouldn’t be viewed negatively. There’s never a cut off age for uni, but there is for experiencing new or unique opportunities. Will knows what part of his life is tangible and he’s gone for the option that is, as he states it “a once in a lifetime opportunity.” You can’t control those, so hop on and go for the ride.

Honestly when i watched this first section about two types of opportunity etc. it made me feel like I literally made so many wrong decisions and literally almost 2 decades have passed and I feel like I've wasted a ton. It's great he took this opportunity.
