You are more right than you know , Iron maiden the band is part of a company called , iron maiden holdings , everything to do with iron maiden goes through maiden holdings , all the merch at the shows , the multiple versions of figures that get made , the trooper ale ,etc etc . People often don't see how clever maiden as a business has been for years , think about this , when they released number of the beast they did a picture disc album , two 7 inch picture disc singles, ltd run of coloured vinyl albums , and the regular black vinyl and tapes ,( when vinyl and tapes were the thing ) if you liked maiden you were buying the single and the single picture disc and so on ,so for one album a fan buys the two singles ,the 2 picture disc singles , the album and the pic version and more than likely the coloured vinyl to , that's how you sell records , brilliant buisniss move .
@@aboutthemetal8783 you write this as if this was some sort of insider secret which almost nobody knows. They're passionate artists, of course, but it also is their job and they do it to make a living. Of course it's a business.
@@ba55bar me to , I actually admire the professionalism , to think that all of this started as one guys dream to play the music he heard in his mind to the masses is amazing .
Thanks, Bruce, for showing us what it takes to be one of the greatest rock singers in history, making sure each and every performance is "A" No. 1 and provides an unforgettable memory for your audiences.
I just love how iron maiden shows to theirs fans how all the magic happens. Since always they have this culture of showing the wonderful backstage job that is done. Love this band!!!!
38 years ago I was drawing Iron Maiden on the cover of my high school notebook. After all these years, here I am, still supporting and enjoying my favorite band.
Man! The " dollars" is nothing! Wath they do hear is History! Spirituality I can say! So sorry for the age & time that change a lot for everyone. When in fact the people that have nothing to say have to give their credit to the one who has to say a lot!!!! Like Iron Maiden for example!!!
This guy is simply the most serious and funny guy at the same time. He acts so friendly and professional. This Maiden machine ist one of the most important companions of my live. Thank you from Germany for so many years of wonderful music. Yesterday my 11 years old son logged into my car music while I was driving home. His choice, turning up the volume, was ….. Fear of the dark. We were 3 minutes away from home. I made 7 senseless turns around our home to to keep us rocking within the car until the song ends. Thats what Maiden stands for.
Iron Maiden has been my all time favorite band ever since 1986 at just eight years old. Hallowed Be Thy Name is the first song I ever listened to, and it changed my life ever since. Even at eight years old I knew that Iron Maiden was extremely special . They are still a machine. UP THE IRONS!!
It moves me to tears. I have goosebumps wtching how they get old in such a dignified manner, but also because of the fact that one day sooner or later we will have to part. They have been with me almost my entire life so I'm taking my five year old son to the next gig as I know it can be the only one he'll ever see. He's a big fan❤️🤘
@@ekolog8201 Just think they are in their mid 60's, Nicko being 70. I think it's the last album. They'd have to release a new album now or next year which is highly doubtful with ongoing tour. I think that as soon as they finish touring (maybe in 2 yrs' time) they will announce retirement.
I fully get this!! They've been a near constant companion since I was about 14 (in 1983) Latest show just last night in Manchester and they were as good as they've ever been, even better, if anything. They genuinely make me so happy I could cry. Nicko was visibly in tears as he left the stage last night, that could have been just because you could really sense the extra love in the air for him so I'm sure he did too, I hope so. To quote Bruce at the end, "We will definitely be back"...my personal thought is that they'll go through to 2025 and have a special 50th anniversary year. After that, who knows? Either way though, the thought of them not being active in the world is already upsetting...but when they do call it a day, they'll have given it everything, that much is certain! Up The Irons!
How very well put. I was at the show in Manchester on Friday and I agree they were better than they have ever been. I think they will tour again but as sad as it will be when they do call it a day us fans have to consider the band and not just be selfish. They have paid there dues and given us fans 200% over 40 odd years. Don’t be sad they have retired be glad we had them for so long!! Up the irons ❤️
This is so much fun to watch! I love theater and these big dramatic shows definitely feel more like theater than just a rock/metal concert. Really immersive. The crew is amazing for pulling it off day after day. And the band has incredible energy. Bruce is such a showman.
I absolutely love these guys and it's fascinating to get a glimpse behind the curtain! Knight these guys! They have done so much for English culture and history, from remembering famous battles to celebrating old poems, from pondering British legends to commemorating national tragedies. If they don't deserve a knighthood then nobody does.
Brian johnson and Angus young deserves them to without a doubt knighthood them they did so much for charity behind closed doors never want anything In return and they are like english Rose's all of them are knighthood acdc and iron maiden they have done so much for others in the past decades. I would love them to be a Museum of them in the uk celebrating I would love them to be more out their and getting the recognition they all deserve. I hope they all will both bands will one day
The greatest metal frontman of all time I saw them in Detroit in October and seeing how much Bruce (and all of maiden) but Bruce especially put into a performance make me respect them even more, even more so given their age
Good god!! Most 20 year olds wouldn't have this much stamina, energy, memory or will to perform a show like that, every night!! Up the irons maidens! 🤘
My wife and I have seen them twice and they are inspirations for us to continue to stay in shape. They are so well spoken and these behind the scene tours have helped us to further enjoy the music and the art of story telling while making connections to those around us. Thank-you for sharing with us and Up The Irons.
The amount of work and dedication they and their crew put into those tours is absolutely phenomenal. Truly one of the greatest metal bands and performers in history.
I love this stuff. So fun to see a little bit behind the scenes. I can't believe how Bruce can sing like a rock god, while at the same time running around, working his ass off between songs. Iron Maiden is without a doubt the best metal band in the world imho 🤘🤘🤘
I really, really enjoyed these look through the keyhole backstage. Actually as much as enjoyed the concerts all this years. Please, please give us an EDDIE VERSION of this! 😏
There's no other metal bands that write epic music, lyrics that tell an awesome story and then present those stories on stage with amazing backdrops, props, special effects and of course Eddie! Would love to see Rime of the ancient mariner. Ship deck, dead crewmen, backdrop of the ocean, grim reaper. Endless possibilities ^_^
We need to see Janicks, Daves, Adrians and Steves guitar and bass rigs. We have now seen Nickos and Bruces rigs/behind the scenes so now it's time to do the others.

Wow! I listen to them since I was little and to this day their music penetrates my entire being. The best band in the world of Rock.
Amazing stuff! And after all that, you’re still able to go onstage and perform to thousands so brilliantly! Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson, are absolutely EPIC in every sense of the word!
I wish we coud have one of this to each member in every tour, simply AWESOME!!!! Great job Maiden Crew, you guys rock on this!! Keep going with this forever, we love Maiden backstage!! Up The Irons!!!
Thank you to everyone in the Iron Maiden juggernaut for making these candid videos. So fantastic, a peek behind the curtain in this case makes it all even more magical.
Very big performance from bruce he is pretty tough at his age you need lots of force and streith to do a show like this congrats iron maiden. Up the iron🤟🏼🤟🏼🇨🇦
Thank you Bruce for giving a rundown of how you go through the gigs during the tour. Legacy was such a fantastic tour and I enjoyed every show I got to see during it. You are a phenomenal singer and performer and I hope you continue to go on for many more years. Iron Maiden is a wonderful band and I appreciate the effort every member and crew go through to make the show go on. Happy Holidays Iron Maiden. Look forward to seeing you guys live again on the next tour.
Incredible. As a lead guitar player/singer, I can definitely relate to the hardships of singing. Hardest thing I've ever done is being a singer, a lot goes into it. Bruce is one of the best!
You will live forever in our hearts guys! I wish to see you in Brazil with the Future Past Tour!!! Merry Christmas and God bless you all and your family!!!
The whole band should do more videos like this. I've been watching maiden since probably 83. They're even in my high school senior yearbook is being my favorite band.
well done bruce the band and all the crew. in my opinion the best heavy metal band that will ever exist. best lead vocalist. cheers lads and lasses. hallowed be thy name . my favorite
It’s a shame we had this tour cancelled here in Australia, was really looking forward too this whole production of songs I grew up with , 🤞fingers crossed maiden tour here soon
Thanks Bruce!!! Wonderful behind the scenes! I need to see your show again! I remember you wearing a light up jacket a few years back. I thought it was the coolest jacket ever! Love your voice!
Nice! I always loved this kind of content. Would have blown my mind 25 years ago when I was a teenager and Maiden and the world of concert production was a new thing to me.
Hey Bruce we will see you this year in Leipzig 🎸🎸 Last year we've been in Stuttgart. That was the best Concert of my life ever. Thank you for your great metal and all the best for you 🤘
I have always loved iron maiden all of there music is a composition of skill and art and true happy passion I wish I could see them in person ❤️ it would truly make me happy forever
Bruce stands out among the sea of talent in his industry. A couple of things that strike me: Unpretentious. He does his stage craft with the perfect mix of class and tongue-in-cheek. Always comes across the same off stage as on. In the same vein, he is perhaps the only lead vocalist in his class who can afford teeth implants but who seems to be unpersuaded by the lure of this cosmetic homogenization. (Kudos to you, mate, you look great!) Finally, he is a consummate pro, not just in music but in every endeavor he’s ever undertaken. As for his vocals, in so many ways he’s even better in recent years than in Maiden’s heyday - well, they actually still are in their heyday, as they have only increased in popularity and sound better and better with time (A Matter of Life and Death is a masterpiece in every respect, and maybe their finest album). Few metal singers have the stamina and pipes like Bruce. Few, if any, improve like Bruce after all the years he’s been doing it.
Maiden are metal gods among men! Thank you for sharing this with us Bruce! Thank you for all the work that the boys and the killer krew go through for us fans. We love you and happy holidays to all my maiden family! We are all Blood Brothers!!! UP THE IRONS 🤘
The man is so fit for his age and all the work that goes on in the back for a show... And after coming back from cancer in all places his throat...Legends they are a fan since 85...
A lot of bands are happy with playing their way through a backing track, and letting video screens / projectors do a lot of the "awe" for them. Not Maiden though... They do it proper, old school; it's like a fucking theatre performance.
I've never had that opportunity. The opportunity to see Iron Maiden: my favorite band and probably never will. I do view you guys on RU-vid and have a couple of your live shows, but I'd give anything to see you in concert before your retirement, or mine. Up the Irons!
@@DarkenedGlobe Don't loose hope. Hope(Elpis) is one of the 4 Saints which celebrate every 17th of September along with Sofia(Wisdom),Piste(Faith),AgapeLove). Personally l have experienced only 2 major metal concerts till now. Metallica at June of 1993 and Iron Maiden at July 16, this year. It was simply not possible to go to any of their concerts in between. Best wishes 🙏 and your dream come true 🙏.
@@olgak.1139 This is very kind of you and I am humbled by this and I thank you. I'm not religious, but I still value the kindness of other's. Thank you again.
