Im a Australian, please don't hold that against me, lm 64 yrs old and remember as a little boy having these magnificent animals pull the milk carts in the early morning in the 60s, street by street to deliver milk to our homes. As a little boy l would get up and run to see these beautiful horses. Great memories. 😊
I met them when I was 8 years old. Stood right next to a lead horse and petted him. Now No Won will be allowed to be that close to them. I felt absolutely safe. Just saying
I am American and I view my Australian neighbors as friends. We fought together in WWII in the Pacific to defeat the Imperial Japan. The politics down under has gotten out of control and we are fighting Marxism here in America. But trust me, America will never be a Marxists country because we have our 2nd Amendment. I know you guys were forced to give up your guns but they will never happen here, at least not without a huge fight. Take care...
I’ve picked a Clydesdales hoove before and it’s so heavy I’m only 13 so I’m no grown man so it was really heavy for me so I got another person who is 14 to pick the horses hoove while I held it
Hi Nicole...yes, this is abuse. Docking a horse's tail is incredibly cruel and stupid. No...it is not done to them because they are in harness...that is not true. You can look on this site to see examples of horses that also work in harness who never have to deal with this kind of cruelty. www.bantaildocking.com
I agree, I don’t think they should cut their tails short. There is no reason to cut their tails! I also think they don’t look as good with short tails. My great uncle used to raise Clydesdales and he never cut their tails and he used them to pull wagons in parades. They need their tails to keep away pests.
