I feel like these guys and equipment managers from other teams at all levels don’t get enough credit. Kudos to them and all the hard work and hours they put in.
The unsung heroes. I was an eq manager in college, would have loved to have done this for a living, but never got a degree. College and NFL all ask if you have a degree.
I think you guys and all equipment management teams do a great job and it’s a very important job which then allows the players and coaches to concentrate on their game. Without organization everything gets shot to hell. I hope your team says thank you.
Looks like a great team working behind the scenes there. I will predict that the Jets will make the playoffs in 2019. You heard it here from a new Jets fan (It came to me in a dream!...and I'm not shutting anyone here!) from Calgary Alberta Canada. Save a seat for me at Met Life.
I'm a little confused. So they put the jerseys on the shoulder pads already, with the Velcro, but then they hang up another jersey in the locker for them? Is that second jersey just a back up?
Teams should get a small equipment room at each field. A couple million and you can keep simple stuff at all other stadiums like face masks, helmets, winter clothes, apparel, etc.
1968 after the ‘Heidi Bowl’, the Jets road uniforms mysteriously disappeared from Oakland Coliseum. Long before FedEx or UPS, the team had to have more uni’s expedited to San Diego for the next game.
Charlton Boy some players like the jerseys a certain way. The ones placed directly on the pads are based on whether the player likes that tightness or feel of the jersey
